The whole thing's a bit half arsed isn't it? The time starts when they close the pit gate! Come on! The camera is often on the wrong rider, with each rider seemingly just being shown for 15 seconds each before the camera cuts to the guy holding the red flag, it's so TV by numbers it's laughable. The clock showing how long is left in the session is unreadable. If they are going to do it they should at least attempt to do it properly and put some thought into it.

The Sprint Races were only brought in to make the qualifying session watchable, which was fair enough imo because if there's Speedway on the Tv I'm going to watch it. The trouble is that the broadcast is that poorly put together it's barely worth watching and to just a sprinkling of people watching it live at the stadium is just embarassing!

The winner of the SGP2 should definitely be nowhere near the main SGP series, it's generally years before they're anywhere near the level required to be in the main series if ever at all. The last WU21 Champion currently in the series is Max Fricke who won it in 2016, it's taken him 10 years to get from that level to his current level and he's still relying on wild cards to qualify.

Not for me, it has to be one or the other, especially with nothing other than pride riding on it, the "LCT" would become nothing more than an end of season fixture filler.

A "wet weather" setup needs to be devised, like in other motor sports where a specific setup is applied to the machinery to make it usable in the wet, what that would be in Speedway I'm not sure as I'm not mechanically minded but other sports seem to manage it.

Certainly not outclassed, seemed to get better as the meeting progressed and won his penultimate ride. Looked like he was riding Dougy's kit. Leicester not the easiest of tracks to get to grips with but he got on okay with it without being spectacular, could be worth a punt as a 3rd heat leader somewhere, but I bet he ain't cheap.

Me too, it was the most memorable testimonial there's probably been I would think, I remember Rick winning it, whether that was the last one to win their own or not I'm sure somebody will correct.

I'm not saying don't celebrate, all wins should be celebrated, especially by the fans, club riders and management just shouldn't go OTT is all I'm saying. I just think that mentally it's the difference between being happy to make the final rather than winning it. And being a fully paid up member of the anyone but Poole club I'd hate to see Glasgow do a Leicester from last year.

I don't like to see it, not in a qualifier, yes be happy, high five each other, whatever, but all this over the top stuff for winning a semi, not for me. Leicester did it last season and I didn't like it, especially when they were sunk without a trace in the final, they did it again, to a lesser extent last Monday, I just think it sends out the wrong signals, a signal of job done, when the job is far from over! You don't see serial winners Poole doing that kind of thing, in fact you don't really see it much in any other sports. Like when sprinters win qualifiers and they try to look like they're not even out of breath after the race, they're not jumping up and down like they've won the Olympics. It's almost as bad as people celebrating "winning" a silver or bronze medal

With only those 4 teams capable of fielding a side strong enough to realistically win a SWC, it would make more sense to make the competition a 4 round affair with a leg in each country, a finale in Australia coupled with a SGP now that would be something worth watching 👀
