  1. How good has the Speedway been up north this year? Superb stuff compared to the PL!
  2. Is Boughen riding NDL this year? If not maybe he needs to serve his apprenticeship properly like Dan Thompson did, he rode for 4 years in the NDL. Maybe he's getting ahead of himself and little bit?
  3. These moving at the start penalties are becoming ridiculous, for the tiniest of movements... having said that Boughen has moved at the start in each one of his races with a bit of a roller in heat 1.
  4. Only in all the wrong places of course. I can never fathom why, in this country, the inside never seems to be watered once a meeting starts 🤷‍♂️ There has been some cracking Speedway racing though!
  5. He certainly wasn't on tick over last night though, he was on it right from heat 1 his gander was obviously up. Everybody considered as his main rivals were bang average apart from Bewley and Kurtz.
  6. What do you expect for £30.99 a month!! I think we now know where Speedway stands in the TNT Sports hierarchy, looking at the @bikesontnt socials there was zero mention that there was even a GP on!
  7. Just wait until Paco gets given a place in the GP 😂
  8. In this current era I'm tending to agree with you, I'd rather have 1 night of jeopardy than 10 nights of mediocrity.
  9. "We're trying to make it more diverse and attract a younger audience"... cut to 2 old men on the back of a pickup truck delivering the trophy 🏆 😂😂
  10. He is a bit of a homer,I wouldn't judge him on his Worky performances alone
  11. I do like all these young Aussies riding in our leagues this year, if they can manage to stick around Australia's future looks quite bright.
  12. It seems that, like in football, the Championship is a far more competitive league than the Premiership.
  13. Is Batch banned from BSN? It wouldn't me 🤬
  14. It's not much better watching it on TV... there's clearly no direction, with the camera often concentrating on a rider for a predetermined amount of time and order.
  15. ... and (in summary) why was that?
  16. The thing is though that neither WSB or MotoGP then go on to have a further 20 qualifying heats,2 semis and a final
  17. Coming back from a season ending injury last year is bound to have had an effect.
  18. Bomber's getting on for right age for a hip replacement He shut off so much and so quickly going into the first turn at Leicester last night that he almost fell off with the way the bike reacted!
  19. This doesn't seem to be a thing anymore. Back in the day teams weren't fined though I believe, they weren't allowed to take to the track. I seem to remember Milton Keynes falling foul to this.
  20. You mean like a rising tar... I'm not going to finish that off or it'll probably get me another ban!
  21. I'm at the British semi-final qualifier at Leicester, it's 24 degrees, probably one of the best nights weather wise we'll have this season, with some of Britain's brightest young speedway talent on show, battling it out for a place in the British Final... but the crowd is about half what it would be for a league match, WHY? What makes people turn out to watch team racing, often contrived, in favour of what I'd suggest is a more pure form of the sport? There's even 10 riders in the field that have connections to Leicester present or past yet it's been given a major thumbs down by the punters 👎🏻 For those that didn't attend the British semi they missed a night of proper Speedway!
  22. Congratulations! You are the first person to use the word "substrate" on this forum 🏆😂
  23. I think there's a little too much being expected from these riders that suffered serious season ending injuries last year. Even Doyley and Emil are finding the going a little tough at the start of this season.
