  1. Well... after heat 12 you can't blame the track, Glasgow team is stacked with experience they're well clear with Poole at the top of the league, they just shouldn't be this bad.
  2. Absolutely shocking stuff from the Tigers, that's the difference with Poole, they just don't go missing like Glasgow have this afternoon! Cami Brown should be apologising to the fans for this display.
  3. No flashing lights on the Worky track equipment... 2 league points fine and award the match to Glasgow?
  4. British Speedway official TwitterX had already posted it so surely no further action will be taken... there certainly shouldn't be!
  5. Fair enough, I will say though you did open up by saying "if" Scunny return next year... as there are already rumours surrounding many tracks in this country I was quite shocked to hear you use the word "if" regarding Scunthorpe and I bet a fair few others were too. As regards talking yourself out of a job, history suggests that it is not a good idea to question a club owners attitude during an interview, it tends not to end well for the interviewee 😂 Fair play for your honesty though 👏 Not sure of your situation with Dougy, but if he had to make a choice between riding UK and not riding UK next year would you still be working with him if he chose the latter?
  6. I didn't see the mechanic throw his arms up at the start of it all... hilarious 🤷‍♂️🤣
  7. British Speedway have posted the fight on their Twitter/X feed... so the riders should be getting appearance fees and advertising royalties!
  8. The Plymouth Gladiators will be boosted by the return of Danish star Nicolai Klindt for their final home fixture of the season this Saturday against the Berwick Bandits. Klindt has been watching closely from the sidelines in recent weeks and admits it has been tough not being involved: “I’ve been following the boys closely over the last couple of meetings where I unfortunately haven’t been available. Our last home meeting ended in a very narrow loss, with Lasse, Joe and Ben all being out due to injury, it would have been a different story if they’d been there. I’m really excited about finally being back at the Coliseum and I aim to bring my away form into Saturday and finish our season off with a win. Mark, Gary and everyone at the club deserves so much more than this season has ended up with due to injuries and misfortune, so to finish off with a big win against Berwick would be a great way to finish off this season at home!” With his determination clear, Klindt will be looking to lead from the front and give Gladiators fans the result they deserve on what promises to be an emotional night at the Coliseum. The curtain comes down on an action-packed speedway season this Saturday 23rd August at the Plymouth Coliseum, as the Plymouth Gladiators take on the Berwick Bandits in their final home race meeting of 2025. That's quite the read!
  9. He said "if" Scunny return next year then the whole attitude of the club needs to change and change from the top!
  10. Wow! Pretty strong words from David Howe... may have just talked himself out of a job!
  11. ... so do we know why Charles Wright missed this meeting? The BSN commentator said he aggravated an injury riding for Landshut the day before... even though it doesn't appear that Landshut were riding from what I can find and the Oxford management said he aggravated his injury on the Saturday night at Plymouth... even though he never fell and completed all of his rides. Was this more to do with money one wonders 🤔
  12. I'm not sure whether that was a good thing or not tbh... Is any Speedway, however farcical at times, better than no Speedway? Having witnessed the goings on over (at least) the last 2 years I'm not sure it is.
  13. Hasn't he put them through hell? 🤔
  14. I can think of better causes to give to than a bunch of mercenary Speedway riders.
  15. If he's spaffed well north of half a mill during his tenure to get the results he has then he's either completely mad or has been very poorly advised!
  16. I think tv want 7 at minimum which is why Oxford & Brum were forced up... tv contract up for renewal at the end of the year
  17. They'd just have a facility for him the whole year... I was thinking more Poole, they still seem to love him down there and that's probably more his level these days
  18. Waiting for tales of all the great meetings/memories from the Manchester dog track to flood this topic 😂
  19. Could maybe see Magic heading to the south coast with an average like that... what would it convert to?
  20. Yes, but... I dare say that if Peterborough and Wolverhampton were still in operation then Oxford would still be riding in the CL & NDL only. They came "up" with Birmingham when the 2 aforementioned clubs ceased operation to make the numbers up for a viable PL to operate and keep the TV people happy.
  21. Looking at Fricke's astonishing win in heat 6 again on video and it looked a very spurious call from the ref... Is it the 3rd year now of transponders and they appear still not to be working correctly at all tracks, it was announced that the ref made his decision based on watching the video. Also, there were problems with the automated starting systema over at King's Lynn on Monday... Technology and British Speedway don't seem a great mix.
