Or Klindt! Seems like they've given Becker an ultimatum like they did with Kurtz last season... what's with all the fluff around the statement though beats me 🤷♂️

No I haven't... he's never there when I go to get one! -
SCB STATEMENT: LUKE BECKER Monday August 11, 2025 The Speedway Control Bureau are aware that Luke Becker made his comeback from a serious back injury for his Polish League Club Ostrow on Saturday 9th August scoring 9 points from 6 rides. After such a serious injury and returning to racing so soon it was no surprise that Mr Becker following his return is suffering from the effects from racing and has now been withdrawn from racing for a further 5 days. The SCB have received medical documentation. Leicester have been granted a facility for their fixture versus Oxford on Monday 11th August, however if Mr Becker competes again prior to the next Leicester fixture he would be expected to return to the Leicester Team

I'm sure he'll be fit enough to miss Plymouth's next home fixture... -

I was getting weather warnings about thunderstorms just before I left home so I was keeping an eye on the radar all night and the rain that was heading up north was just about running out of steam as it got to Leicester. The dirt did get wide and Magic was pulling some massive lines especially around turns 1 & 2 out of the gate, thought he was quite impressive last night... compared to his last visit to BP. -

Trouble is there was rain showing on the radar as approaching, so to water it could have been folly... not that anybody seemed to realise this at the pace the meeting was run! -

I'm not so forgiving, he was well enough to take 6 rides in his first meeting back, it's just the same as the rest, this is the new normal now, when riders came back from injury before, they came back everywhere, not just Poland... I'm idioting sick of it! -
LEICESTER: Max Fricke, Luke Becker R/R, Ryan Douglas, Kyle Howarth, Sam Masters, Drew Kemp, Joe Thompson. OXFORD: Charles Wright, Erik Riss R/R, Maciej Janowski, Mitch McDiarmid, Rohan Tungate, Peter Kildemand, Luke Killeen. You may not be able to have your photograph taken with Luke Becker, as he aggravated his injury in Poland yesterday (🐂💩), but you can have your photograph taken with the Knockout Cup before the match... I wonder if anybody has bought any red and yellow ribbons for it 🤔

No... he also missed the fixture at Poole last Wednesday

I emailed the SCB, twice, as it was a SCB regulation that was breached, they just don't say which. https://www.scbgb.co.uk/news.php?extend.213

Lol, don't waste your time mate... I emailed them twice asking which regulation Workington breached that got them a 2 league point deduction, as it's normally stated in their press release, never received a reply!

Back for Lions on Monday then, cushty 👍🏻

But if Ben Cook has received a 28 day ban for the breach of SCB Regulation 010.5 j) Then Nicolai Klindt should also receive a 28 day ban for breaching SCB Regulation 010.5 p) 🤷♂️

Only a small percentage of crashes result in any kind of serious injury, like I said there's no need to linger on it if it does appear more serious just stay on it for few seconds until it's clear a rider is in trouble or not, they've missed a few argey bargey incidents over the years for cutting away too soon. It'd also be useful if BSN could show an updated league table after the match, especially last night with 6 teams in action. Thought it was a pretty decent match tonight with some good racing for Armadale, happy to see Simon Lambert get in the points.
-
Why though? When you're at a meeting you don't start looking into the distance in the opposite direction, you want to see if the rider(s) are okay or maybe even watch some handbags unfold. I can understand cutting away if it becomes obvious that a rider is in distress, nobody wants to see that, but BSN instantly cut away every time a rider goes down and there's no need for it, they're quite happy to show Scott Nicholls season ending crash in their opening credits.
