  1. If they want to encourage people to print their ticket at home and cut back on the queues and meeting delays, they've got to start charging the same price at the window. Some people will not pay the extra £1 on principle.
  2. But be aware that it's an extra £1 per ticket for the privilege of doing so... literally a licence to print money!
  3. yes, but what encourages a Swede or a Pole to turn up to a TV match that puts a British punter off?
  4. Look at the Swedish Speedway, they have live matches with big crowds, Poland live matches with huge crowds... what is British Speedway doing wrong?
  5. The ref had a shocker last night, how he missed Auty blatantly touching the tapes in heat 1 is beyond me, Bech went down by himself in the first running of heat 2, was allowed back in and the meeting was left to drift along with rain falling. Watt was a disgrace, all riders showed good effort on a difficult track except for Watt and to be fair I've seen him perform the same in decent conditions too, this no points no money argument I find hard to believe, I bet he didn't get £0.00 for the meeting. If he doesn't want to ride speedway why doesn't he go home and get a proper job?
  6. Negatives out of the way first. Getting in was a total shambles, queued up for 40 mins expected to see the place heaving when I got inside and was amazed how few there were in (for the crowd at the ticket office), the staff in the ticket office did look very stressed! Then had to walk all the way round the outside of the stadium to gain entry to the south stand, I don't know why you can't just get in at the main gate and walk around, I hope this changes. The track reminded me of the Carduff track and produced about the same quality of racing, hopefully this will get better when the track matures. And now for the positives.... wow! what a place! viewing was awesome and the place has atmosphere, compared to the old place that was sometimes like attending a funeral. The teething problems will get sorted out. I just hope there is a league in future years for the club to run in
  7. Probably at Leicester preparing for next year
  8. So Mick Horton to move the Coventry outfit into Leicester next season and some other poor unfortunate PL club sent up to the EL to make the numbers up. Will anybody give me 5000/1?
  9. didn't though did he. like I say he has time on his side
  10. Can't really agree with the riding abroad part of this, this was held in Britain and the Brits still weren't good enough. Lambert unlucky? Just not good enough yet, at least he has time on his side. Cook unlucky? a bad last after he looked like he was going to go through the card and a silly fall
  11. You had trouble getting out due to the locked exit gates too?
  12. If he wanted to ride over here I would sign Zengi (ex Swindon) to replace Walasek.
  13. Practice Cancelled http://www.coventrybees.co/news.php?extend.3474
  14. get yourself a VPN for around £50 (IP Vanish) a year and watch it from the SGP website
  15. I think they've kept the vast majority of the tickets back so they can offer selected areas at the "discounted" prices
