  1. Yes, I was thinking the same, last week and this... Has it been changed at all since last season or is my eyesight just failing as I get older and grumpier?
  2. crowd looked substantially down on last week too
  3. After a long close season I'd forgotten just how dull speedway can be at Leicester, tonight was a great reminder
  4. Looks like somebody is colour blind or has turned up at completely the wrong p&p day!
  5. I didn't think team suits were even compulsory anymore? I'd be pretty peed off if I'd bought a season ticket expecting to see Harris & Cook and got fobbed off with Tungate and whoever...
  6. When Bomber can ride BP like that it makes you wonder what the hell the rest are playing at!?!
  7. Lovely weather for getting them track alterations done
  8. It's just a shame that the, and I use the term very loosely, music is utter toilet
  9. "The Robins chief was instrumental in the preparation of the racing surface leading up to the first five British Speedway Grand Prixs held at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff." ... And who remembers what death traps they were!
  10. Loyalty? I don't think I ever saw him ride for BV at Coventry because he was always riding for somebody else!
  11. There should be no reason for any match to take longer than 90 minutes. Just because you're in attendance sometimes for over 2 and a half hours doesn't mean you're getting better vfm
  12. Not the most pressing... But it's easy to rectify and a quick win
  13. By my calculations, that's 15 x 4 minutes which equals 1 hour... How the hell is it normally taking them over twice that long then?
  14. R/R as he puts his TV career first?
  15. You'll be able to read all about it in the first set of accounts
  16. Absolutely not in the short term... But it opens up the possibility to do so in the longer term, the way things were, as has been proved over the decline of the last 50 years or so, big ideas were almost impossible to implement
  17. Rider control? If all assets have been transferred to the company. Meaningful shareholder meetings to push rules through, share sales if an interested party comes along wanting to buy the sport, collective bargaining power for purchasing shale or riders time, spread of profit/loss. I think this could be the most positive step in years for the sport
  18. The only way you should have Nicholls back is as a H&S steward so you can open up the whole of the stand for the capacity crowds
