I genuinely can't remember, probably because more often than not these days it's not an issue a lot of matches tend to be easy home wins.
Anyway stop it now, you're only embarrassing yourself
I'm not worried about it in the slightest. I just think it's wrong that when a team draws 1 team gets more league points than the other... As I've already said you wouldn't get it in any other sport
It maybe semantics but it is fact. In Speedway it's league points in the other sports mentioned they're bonus points, for reaching set goals during a match
Again, if you'd read it properly you'd see that I'm not confused by it... I just can't remember it.
What does confuse me is whether you can't read properly or can't think properly... I'm beginning to think it's probably both.
Ahh... Well this is where I would have broken away from the other countries. We're currently rock bottom and something drastic needed/needs doing. I would have gone for Friday and Saturday night
Of course bonus points are different to points... you ALWAYS get the points, you don't always get the bonus points... That's why they're called bonus points, der
Anyway... I'll be seeing you next Tuesday
No... I'll take the bit where he/she's going off at a tangent about every sport being different and the home advantage thing as him/her wanting to change the subject because he/she couldn't read the detail of my original point... as an apology
If promoted properly I think there could be quite an appetite for test matches... there was quite a decent crowd at BV earlier in the year for the U21 Team Championship and this despite zero promotion in the UK
The delay between heat 20 and the semi and the final are the reasons I don't go to this anymore... any tension built up through the meeting is lost when it takes half an hour to run the final 120 seconds of racing
Agreed with the bonus point... I just can't get my head around the current league point scoring system, never have been able to. Can never remember whether it's 6 or more than 6 to get or lose the extra point and an away draw getting more than a home draw is just ridiculous
Times have changed though... we live in an instant society these days, multiple forms of entertainment at your fingertips, food and shopping delivered to your door. I don't know where you were getting your 2 hours for 13 races from, at Coventry I seem to remember being away regularly at 8:45 - 9:00 with a 7:30 start
I think closing the door is hard racing, fencing a rider deliberately is dirty... and I though it was Robert Lambert that was ruthless, it says so all over his clothing
