  1. Who was the ref, Babs? Dougy dropped a chain as well didn't he?
  2. You can't keep blaming tracks for your teams generally abysmal record away from the NSS, hope you get out of the car park quicker than you did at King's Lynn 😂 and think of all the cars you'll be passing on the way home with all that dirt on the M1 👍🏻
  3. Having said that heat 15 was a cracker 😂😂😂
  4. Track prep was poor again tonight, far too dry, not enough moisture in the track. With a track like ours it needs to be prepared perfectly as it can't rely on it's shape alone.
  5. I thought I read it on here somewhere, I could very easily have been mistaken though, it has been known to happen. I may have been getting him confused with Paco, who withdrew from the pairs, it could have been him that was riding abroad on the Sunday.
  6. Yes, that old chestnut, he did ride in Poland didn't he? I thought I read it on here somewhere. Let the inconsistencies begin 🎲🎰
  7. Eurosport used to have breaks in coverage, especially for events like the French Open Tennis and Olympics.
  8. You should follow somebody other than Belle Vue then 😁 Give Sheffield a go, they're usually good value!
  9. I parked in the one stop for the Leicester match and haven't received a ticket (yet). In fact there were loads of people parked in there when I returned to my car after the match, more so than when Asda was 24hr.
  10. Some of the cambers/banking has been changed, best Speedway I've seen around BP vs Brum... let's hope that wasn't a flash in the pan 🤞
  11. You can't go through life in your echo chamber ignoring people.
  12. I think the blue groove appeared because it the inside of a track is never watered once the meeting starts, this seems something peculiar to this country as you never see this on the continent where they just flood the track after every 4 races. If the track doesn't have enough moisture in it from the start of the meeting, for whatever reason, the blue groove is inevitable.
  13. Dirt or no dirt, I think the trick to a "decent" track (any track) is keeping the moisture in it, as soon as it goes dry, you're on a hiding to nothing racing wise. Back in the day you'd often see the water cart coming out after every race, just for a lap or 2, during dry periods to keep on top of the track.
  14. BV & Worky tracks are very similar, very "European". His home vs away average for Worky was 8.77 vs 4.58 Pick the bones out of that 🤔
  15. Opening TV dates: Monday April 28 – King’s Lynn v Oxford Monday May 12 – British Final, Belle Vue Monday May 19 – Belle Vue v Leicester Monday May 26 – Birmingham v King’s Lynn Monday June 9 – Leicester v Sheffield Monday June 23 – Ipswich v Leicester Monday July 7 – Oxford v Belle Vue Monday July 14 – Sheffield v Birmingham Remaining TV dates – fixtures to be confirmed: Monday July 21; Monday August 4; Monday August 11; Monday August 25. All play-off fixtures to be televised in September.
  16. "charismatic 30-year-old Australian" That's quite a claim! Don't forget that Cook was named to be in the CLPC and CLRC and the Leicester team until the day before P&P.
  17. Probably waiting until MJJ clears off?
  18. Many of the Ippo mechanics were wearing uniform tops on Monday night with the Tru7 logo on the front & Premiership logo on the back... didn't see any in the Brum side of the pits, that's not to say there weren't. I assume all teams will be kitted out for the first TNT meetings.
  19. I know... I was answering your 2 questions. It's either that or we all stand around for half an hour like spare pricks at a wedding waiting for it all to be decided.
