  1. Personally would of thought Auty was nailed on with a low average for his potential to score big points at home and the occasional good meeting away
  2. Neil does the same rule apply to an unattached 3 pointer who isn't classed as a guest if so we all missed a trick
  3. Unfortunately it's the way it is I'm not letting my rider get one either
  4. Not because he didn't have an average but because he doesn't want one before next season
  5. Tero is very good when he wants to be which is mainly at home if he turns up . Away he's dire and not worth the points used on his average personally wouldn't waste them on him and as we know it's a numbers game
  6. Let's hope it's not tero misses to many meetings for no reason
  7. Thanks for that he loves the place . we are trying hard to guide him in the right direction
  8. He wasn't stopped from riding at all he has been competing on the 250cc all summer in Europe and doing mdsl and Pjl on the 500. Only decision made was not to allow him to ride at NDL level until the European stuff was out of the way. He had one none riding appearance at no8 for Bellevue and turned down several other offers of guest or no8 bookings due to being to close to his other commitments. Also please remember he and a couple of others are replacing injured riders not taking someone else's spot.
  9. As a family we chose not to let Luke get an average and certainly wouldn't of been swayed by any club dictating about the volume of meetings he would or wouldn't compete in . Our decisions are based on his development
  10. Think personally that is a very good level of rider for a junior competition
  11. Hi mate unfortunately due to 250cc commitments for the period of time after he turned 15 until after the cut off date it was impossible to sign for any club as he would of been unavailable to much
  12. That's harsh personally think the gap between the championship and NDL is to big riders like the Thompsons Mcgurk's Palin Kelly Bickley should be protected at reserve until 21 or 22 allowing them to develop no point having riders and crucifying them and them leaving the sport when we already have a rider shortage
  13. No there were two meetings this week Sheffield v wolves and kings Lynn v Peterborough and on Monday I believe it's Belle vue v Sheffield
  14. Well can only say what a fantastic experience the Sgp 3 was full on gp treatment for all riders if they aren't inspired by it all they never will be .
  15. Personally don't agree at youth level we are way off the European lads who all stay 250 a year longer than we have to the 15 year old limit is just designed to bring in the next batch of riders early to fill gaps in the system created by teams wanting the next perceived wonder kid .
  16. Promoting the 250 class is poor in the uk . Problem is in my opinion when most of the boys get on one at 12 or 13 they progress quite quickly as they are simple to ride so when the get to 14 they are instantly pressured to get on a 500 as it's not long before they can ride National league. This inevitably reduces the number in the class age criteria should be 15 to ride a 500 and 16 for national league.
  17. Sgp 3 semi final 1 25/8/22 first heat is 1200 and features British 250 champion Luke Harrison semi final 2 first heat is at 1900 and features Max James and Ace Pijper the final on 26/8/22 first race is 1600 with the top 8 from each semi racing let's hope all the boys make it through
  18. 100% certain this has been looked into extensively as my pilot is now eligible to ride. Regardless of how many heats a rider does as soon as he turns a wheel in the 4th meeting an average is achieved. All official meetings count league , cups , playoffs are included
  19. If that's 7 in total max will get an average as playoffs count towards them. No team can make changes after the 28th of August as that's the cut off date. Decision is do Leicester drop mickie Simpson as he moves to reserve at next meeting as max Perry goes to number 2. Do team James take the opportunity and get an average for next season. Its 4 meetings and it kicks in cups playoffs league all are officially counted.
  20. No you have to actually ride non riding number 8 don't count
  21. Any rider gets an average after 4 meetings regardless of been unattached a guest named in a squad or number 8. We have looked into this intensely as our pilot has just turned 15. Potentially could do 4 meetings at number 8 and have one ride in each meeting. If he won the each heat would be saddled with a 12 point average
  22. Most weeks it's like that . Last night was a good meeting and it's a always better when a the opposition have strong heat leaders
