No idea under what guise they are run why not ask Richard instead of going round in circles on here making assumptions to suit your way of thinking . Getting the answer from the man is always a step in the right direction -

Don't think you were treated any differently. Difference is this is totally amateur and not run in conjunction the scb/Bspl meetings like mdsl meetings are. -

No idea if Boston and Hull are trying this is a totally amateur event so wouldn't see why they would have to be. Think if you enter a team in an amateur meeting you can call them what you want . Covering expenses is payment which ever way you look at it. I would suggest if you want to run your Racers team contact Richard I'm sure he could help. -

It's a Richard Hollingsworth organised event he puts scunthorpe team together to run alongside other classes in amateur meetings. Think Lee and kean dicken organised the hull team the amsa team is done by their organisation and I think Sam woods does Boston. This event is open to anyone who wants to put a team together just contact Richard. The main difference here is all riders pay to enter and no payments are made to riders and fans don't pay to watch, so it's different from the IOW events and the Mdsl where fans pay and or riders are paid. If you would like to enter a team contact Richard I'm sure he would be happy to include more teams. -
Me to so the younger lads get to compete against there piers . Sport really missed a trick in 21 after Covid should have made huge changes for the future but sadly didn't. Never mind though we can always get a 27 year old Aussie in the NDL on a 3 point average and support it

Great post and is totally the right way to go

Can't wait for the uproar when they don't

Doctors have said 6 to 8 weeks will have a better idea after follow up scans in early may. Regardless of what doctors say he won't ride until we decide he's fit enough.
-
The crash was 100% down to what we would consider to be the poorest lap he's put in since his 125 days the 3 previous laps were very good . no fault of scunthorpe speedway or the facilities there. There's nothing to imagine so let's not stir up another campaign as there already one happening on Facebook

It certainly is and made us all laugh when he asked for a proper bed . In fairness though it's a specialist hospital and the care he's getting is wonderful. Big up to the NHS
-
At this moment in time there is no time set on how long before he returns. After a conversation with him today he is eager to know timescales but he is under no illusions that regardless of his desire to ride he won't be rushed back as at 15 his career should he have one is all in front of him
-
Luke had accepted the guest ride however as Berwick wanted to use him instead of josh embleton they couldn't as a reserve must be replaced by an unattached rider below his average. It's a good rule which gives riders without a place an opportunity to ride
-
Thats no good at all getting smashed every week helps nobody the rider the team or the supporters all become disappointed. Sport is littered with decent young kids who have smoke blown up there arses and told there better than they are only for them to grasp the harsh realities of it and get chucked on the scrap heap for the next wonder kid. We have a long term plan and will stick to it this year like last opportunity will come and some we will take and others we won't .

Has to be unattached so due to Luke been in the declared team he cannot guest at 6 or 7 but can at one to five hence why he can ride for Mildenhall tomorrow -
Luke was in then out mate it's the mad rules
-
He's only 15 turns 16 in June and championship is not on the agenda at this moment. To much to soon could be the ruination of him remember he's British and would be slagged from pillar to post if he don't score well ,won't get the slack Aussie youngsters get who struggle at that level
-
And Luke's not been asked
-
That would be good mate it's fantastic ,been able to manipulate the rules openly is a good tool to have in your locker. Beats paying a rider to do 1 lap then use rr all season (worlds worst kept secret )
-
Track don't need bedding in it was fantastic both days. The 10 riders there put in plenty of laps and from beginning to end it was terrific little bit slick but that's only to be expected. No idea on open sessions but we will be back up for a full weekend prior to season starting
-
In fairness Luke isn't concerned what number he rides at but is hoping that he can ride as a pair with Sam . They have such a good understanding of how each other rides stemming from grasstrack then the 125s and 250s.
-
The 125 format within the Njl is fantastic as a team we will be forever grateful to Berwick for giving our rider the chance to develop at such a young age. Living 15 minutes from our home track which ran Mdl but having to travel 4 hours for Njl was the only downside .
-
Wolves did all last year and are doing this year , scunny also have second halves at most meetings if you want them
-
The njl with the 125s included is such a better format
