Football teams only play a home match every two weeks which I presume is every other Saturday. so who are playing all these mid week matches that are on satellite or are they all playing away . Not really correct is it
So on that basis if you go to the Epsom Derby you will see roughly 9 minutes racing in 3 hours
Go to the Golf Open and follow a player round and you see roughly 4 minutes of action in 4 hours
At Wimbledon you will see roughly 12 minutes of tennis in every hour.
Hardly worth going then, on your way of thinking is it?
there is no way that you are going to get more people to go to Speedway with less meetings/ You can ask almost everyone and one of their biggest moans are why cannot we get a home meeting once a week.sometimes there is a 3 or 4 week gap. Less meetings do not reduce the costs of the stadiums and riders then earn less.

People seem to forget in years gone by riders had to get through qualifying rounds normal three to get to Wembley in the first place and any body could enter not the case today.There were many cases where top riders did not have score enough points to get through, not like today when the top rider just get picked automatically from one year to the next
