2021 FIM Long Track
Gambo replied to DutchGrasstrack's topic in Grasstrack, Sidecar, Short Track and Cycle Speedway
Problems with the track. Only two heats so far. -
17th July was originally Cardiff GP. I believe that Leicester have tried to get a fixture but no team was willing to come.

Dan would have to drop out of the Lion Cubs to ride for Sheffield.
-
But if it is Hans it would be his Championship debut.

Witches v wolves 28th June, TV meeting
Gambo replied to Badge's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Last nights showing was one which one again raises the question as to why we haven't adopted the Polish 'two-minutes' rule where you actually have to be ready to race at the start line, not ambling round to the start and doing your gardening and ignoring the Start Marshall! -
I thought the concern was regarding the Cubs fixtures attendances?
-
Strange that they should require permission when they can go Grass Tracking etc. without needing permission.

I guess that Proctor could be deemed to be "withholding his services" (for up to 28 days) and so a guest or R/R facility.

But after 4H & 4A for the twins to get a true average, Bates would probably be at Reserve.
-
It was. My son took two 'newbies' to Leicester tonight and they both said that they will be back for more.

It seems that Boris & Co. are following Humph's example of using % increases to amplify their figures. One of the slides shown had a starting figure of 3 per 100,000. the next figure was 5, so it transposed as a 66% rise!

Leicester vs Scunny KoC 2nd Leg 12/06/21
Gambo replied to IainB's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Stewart Dickson admitted that he had not watered enough pre-meeting. So you didn't notice the outside racing lines lines that in particular Proctor, Jorgensen, Lambert (along with others) were taking? -
A League of 12 teams is 22 meetings. More than the Premiership is currently offering it's riders.
-
If there were one League you would not need fixed race nights. Each team would only need one Monday meeting to satisfy (if there were) any TV commitments. If a team uses riders with foreign league commitments, then that is really their problem.

In my opinion, the two meetings that drop off Cook's Rolling average were 5R 10pts and 5R 13 points.

I'm reliably informed that there was a Wi-Fi problem at Wolves and Dave had no direct contact with them. Therefore he would assume that Nigel would still have done the BV updates.
