  1. Holder is riding in a SGP qualifier tomorrow afternoon in Germany.

  4. Sadly Sam Hagon`s hopes of qualifying for this years SGP2 series ended in the Czech Republic today, to his credit he finished in 7th place with 9pts.
  5. Birmingham will be lucky to see out the season.
  6. Edinburgh may need to make more than one change to get a competitive team.
  7. Obviously its sad news that Birmingham speedway will be no more, but not a complete shock. Odd timing though as you can bet every rider currently in the Birmingham team will be looking to get their averages down to secure a job for next season, to be honest I`d be surprised if the Brummies win another match this season.
  8. Now Klindt has a team place in Poland, is he really all that bothered about Saturday nights at Plymouth.
  9. Must better performance from the Workington No1 today where he only retired in one race, another two or three matches and we should see him complete all four rides. Improvement.
  10. Anyone signing Batchelor knows what's coming at some point, you have to feel for the Workington fans who travelled over to Scunthorpe last night, they didn't deserve their No1 rider show little or no effort. Hopefully that has been pointed out by the Workington management to the rider but I rather doubt that.
  11. Welcome home win but by no where near enough to go through in my, no fault of his own but Hagon in the No3 position isn't going to cut it.
  12. Jack Smith is the epitome of a journeyman rider, seen as a last gasp or short term signing, as is the case in this situation. However it is clear the Bastian Borke is a mile away from sufficient race fitness that justifies his team place at present and I back the clubs decision to drop Borke be it temporarily or not as the situation could not continue. Though it does seem the club and rider have differing views on the events of the last day or so. Not sure if Smith is the answer though.
  13. I believe Anders Rowe will be the guest on Friday with Leon Flint coming in to guest at Berwick next Saturday.
  14. Irrespective of whether Cook rides for Berwick or he doesn`t, and no matter what statement the Berwick management cobble together, I think the vast majority of Berwick`s fans will have already made their minds about Cook. His future at Berwick is virtually untenable even now and that`s before a wheel has been turned.
  15. The clock continues to tick and the silence is deafening.
  16. With the situation regarding Craig Cook, maybe its time the decision was taken out of the riders hands. Its fair to say Cook was never the most popular rider at Berwick, if the promotion believe that after recent events he will be welcomed with open arms then they may be in for a shock.
  17. Its difficult to see anything when your head is buried in the sand.
  18. With the Championship Pairs taking place today at Workington, and unless he`s moved Craig Cook living locally, you`d think there must be a possibility that the Berwick promotion and management, attending the meeting, could knock on his front door and get this saga put to bed before the season starts in a couple of weeks.
