  1. If this is the case for the defence, its not a great look. One wonders what if anything Sheffield Speedway, his employer, make of this.
  2. Certain riders just couldn't give a monkeys about the fans.
  3. I agree with you completely but I do wonder sometimes if us fans deserve what we get as we don`t make enough fuss about this kind of thing. Posting on a forum is not enough, we should be bombarding our clubs and the BSPL with complaining emails, but we don`t. We turn up week in week out and accept riders doing what they want, when they want.
  4. Very disappointing to see riders pulling out for what seems no real reason, not so long ago this was a big meeting at this level. More evidence that riders want it all their own way and will only ride when they want to.
  5. Poor old Ritchie Hawkins, he hadn`t got a clue in his interview.
  6. Rumour is that it will be a very different looking Glasgow team next season.
  7. Irrespective of who should or should not be excluded, it was utterly classless from Zmarzlik to not at least check on Michelsen.
  8. Very rare nowadays that riders, and any top rider, want to do individual meetings. In the past we saw Crump, Adams, Loram etc willing to come to do these kinds of meetings, could you see any of the current SGP starlets willing to do the same.
  9. Very poor way to end a very poor season. The management/promotion now have around seven months to put things right before Berwick return in 2025. Hopefully.
  10. If I could bring this thread kicking and screaming back to the actual match, if Workington have any serious intentions about pinching a play off place then this is a must win for them. But Oxford thought that last week and we know what happened. Hopefully a good match to end the season.
  11. Aye you and Kenny need to pull your finger out, haven't won anything for a couple of months or so.
  12. Off thread but I would like to highlight the work the supporters club are doing behind the scenes to help keep Berwick Speedway on track with their 5-1 draw. The information is on other parts of social media as to how to join but to date the supporters club have handed over £55000 to the club, without which its very difficult to see how speedway would survive in the town.
  13. Very enjoyable meeting, one because many thought, including me, that Berwick had little or no chance of winning and secondly because of how the meeting ended with an extra heat home win. Sadly its the last home league match next week but though there were rumours last night of a junior individual meeting in September.
  14. Weather good. https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2655819 Car park free. Away win.
  15. I thought Leon Flint was the guest on Saturday. https://www.berwickspeedway.com/news/monday-briefing-12/
  16. Its a sport governed by averages, individual and team, so when a rider increases his averages it at least shows an improvement which is a good thing. No ?.
  17. Leon has increased his average this season so he must be doing something right.
  18. Its certainly an odd where, for example last Saturday you had two Plymouth riders guesting for Berwick in their match with Edinburgh where they helped the home side win, a win that sent their own team to the bottom of the league.
  19. Mr Barrie runs things at Berwick on a Saturday, or at least he thinks he does.
