Very enjoyable meeting, one because many thought, including me, that Berwick had little or no chance of winning and secondly because of how the meeting ended with an extra heat home win. Sadly its the last home league match next week but though there were rumours last night of a junior individual meeting in September.

Its a sport governed by averages, individual and team, so when a rider increases his averages it at least shows an improvement which is a good thing. No ?.

Leon has increased his average this season so he must be doing something right.

Its certainly an odd where, for example last Saturday you had two Plymouth riders guesting for Berwick in their match with Edinburgh where they helped the home side win, a win that sent their own team to the bottom of the league.

Mr Barrie runs things at Berwick on a Saturday, or at least he thinks he does.

Which he was both at the start of Hts 13 & 15.

At the minute the Killeen for Kemp change makes little or no sense, should a second change be incoming, a Laguta or a Zmarzlik for example then maybe it was worth doing.

Justin Sedgeman will be out for a minimum of 3 weeks.

Wouldn`t be surprised if Oxford are about to make another change at heat leader and need the extra points to do so.

Odd very odd, I`d back Drew Kemp to beat Luke Killeen in a match race on any track and in any conditions. Maybe more changes are on the cards.
