With the situation regarding Craig Cook, maybe its time the decision was taken out of the riders hands. Its fair to say Cook was never the most popular rider at Berwick, if the promotion believe that after recent events he will be welcomed with open arms then they may be in for a shock.

With the Championship Pairs taking place today at Workington, and unless he`s moved Craig Cook living locally, you`d think there must be a possibility that the Berwick promotion and management, attending the meeting, could knock on his front door and get this saga put to bed before the season starts in a couple of weeks.

I would be surprised if Belle Vue held any tickets back, if they have a chance to sell a two day ticket then you would imagine they would take it. I bought mine just after 10am yesterday and it looked all tickets were available to me.

At time of writing, and unless Belle Vue Speedway have held some tickets back, there are 15 seats left in the main stand.

Whilst I am prepared to be convinced otherwise, this should not come as a surprise to anyone. Signing Cook was always a gamble.

On the occasions I have been to Belle Vue, SON`s, Speedway World Cup`s, British Final`s etc, I have always used the Premier Inn in Denton as my hotel. For a two night stay, Friday Saturday, I am currently been quoted no less than £600 for my potential stay, which I find scandalous to say the least..

Why so, within speedway Berwick has a very positive reputation about how they treat their riders. Cook may be very appreciative of that.
