  1. Must better performance from the Workington No1 today where he only retired in one race, another two or three matches and we should see him complete all four rides. Improvement.
  2. Anyone signing Batchelor knows what's coming at some point, you have to feel for the Workington fans who travelled over to Scunthorpe last night, they didn't deserve their No1 rider show little or no effort. Hopefully that has been pointed out by the Workington management to the rider but I rather doubt that.
  3. Welcome home win but by no where near enough to go through in my, no fault of his own but Hagon in the No3 position isn't going to cut it.
  4. Jack Smith is the epitome of a journeyman rider, seen as a last gasp or short term signing, as is the case in this situation. However it is clear the Bastian Borke is a mile away from sufficient race fitness that justifies his team place at present and I back the clubs decision to drop Borke be it temporarily or not as the situation could not continue. Though it does seem the club and rider have differing views on the events of the last day or so. Not sure if Smith is the answer though.
  5. I believe Anders Rowe will be the guest on Friday with Leon Flint coming in to guest at Berwick next Saturday.
  6. Irrespective of whether Cook rides for Berwick or he doesn`t, and no matter what statement the Berwick management cobble together, I think the vast majority of Berwick`s fans will have already made their minds about Cook. His future at Berwick is virtually untenable even now and that`s before a wheel has been turned.
  7. The clock continues to tick and the silence is deafening.
  8. With the situation regarding Craig Cook, maybe its time the decision was taken out of the riders hands. Its fair to say Cook was never the most popular rider at Berwick, if the promotion believe that after recent events he will be welcomed with open arms then they may be in for a shock.
  9. Its difficult to see anything when your head is buried in the sand.
  10. With the Championship Pairs taking place today at Workington, and unless he`s moved Craig Cook living locally, you`d think there must be a possibility that the Berwick promotion and management, attending the meeting, could knock on his front door and get this saga put to bed before the season starts in a couple of weeks.
  11. Translated from Sportowfaty. https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/1180814/zuzel-karambol-w-krosnie-tai-woffinden-kontuzjowany
  12. I would be surprised if Belle Vue held any tickets back, if they have a chance to sell a two day ticket then you would imagine they would take it. I bought mine just after 10am yesterday and it looked all tickets were available to me.
  13. At time of writing, and unless Belle Vue Speedway have held some tickets back, there are 15 seats left in the main stand.
  14. Whilst I am prepared to be convinced otherwise, this should not come as a surprise to anyone. Signing Cook was always a gamble.
  15. On the occasions I have been to Belle Vue, SON`s, Speedway World Cup`s, British Final`s etc, I have always used the Premier Inn in Denton as my hotel. For a two night stay, Friday Saturday, I am currently been quoted no less than £600 for my potential stay, which I find scandalous to say the least..
  16. To be fare he`s hardly likely to say anything else is he.
  17. Happy birthday to Dennis McCleary who`s service to Berwick Speedway and Berwick Rangers over the decades has been incredible.
  18. My information is that if Riss races in this country it will be Premiership only.
  19. I have never ever been so insulted, I actually think this is actionable.
