Berwick v Edinburgh Saturday 15 June, 7pm
screm replied to George Dodds's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
It will be a wonderful irony if he who cries every week about the admission price was stopped from going due to the weather. Happily for him and all others going is that the current forecast for Saturday looks very promising. -

Fair to call the forecast for Glasgow today iffy, lets hope there`s more sun than rain and the covers do their work as the last thing the riders and those people going will want is a call off https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2648579 -

Giving his injuries I suspect Tai will be out for more than two SGP, I dont see him being in any rush to be back before he is fit as being World Champ is all that matter to him, I`m sure he would like to finish top eight and guarantee his qualification for next but he would be 100% a wild card pick if he didn't make it. -

You have to give credit to the Berwick promotion for at least trying to attract either new fans or fans back. £17 is to much for Championship speedway IMO, £15 at a £1 per race is about right, so lets hope this promotion pays the club back at the turnstiles though when this has been tried in the past there has been plenty kids for free but no major up turn in paying adults, but like I say the club deserve credit for trying at least. -

How is it possible for a rider to go out for a race and not wear gloves, if not the rider himself surely someone must've noticed. -
Hope nobody minds me posting this on here but I am sad to report that long time servant/supporter of Berwick Speedway Jim Louden has passed, this is the tribute via the Berwick site. Jim will be sorely missed by all at Berwick Speedway. RIP Jim http://berwickbandits.co/news/jim-louden
