  1. Thats a great effort, maybe the club could've included the finishing total either in their report on last nights match or they post it on the clubs Facebook page
  2. To be honest the shape of the track argument has been debated many times on this forum, the track size or shape is not going to change so we have get on with what we have. But it would be untrue to say we don't get good racing with the current shape but we don't get it on anything like a regular bases that must come back to track prep in the days leading up to a meeting.
  3. Robert Lambert is still very much in contention with two rounds to go but his exclusion last night could come back to bite as a point or two in that race could prove crucial.
  4. Those that thought that Berwick would pull this round on aggregate were deluding themselves I`m afraid and so it proved, in fact as I posted beforehand Berwick would have a job on just to win on the night and so it proved as Leicester ran out worthy winners and looked what they are, the best team in the league. One or two members in the Berwick team under performing of late and that needs to turn round very soon as more home defeats are likely if that isnt addressed
  5. Today has been a difficult day, mainly because we have moved to another room in a different part of the hospital where we are not familiar with surroundings. Sam has not had any change he is still having episodes of rapid movements followed by sleeping. Sam is having an mri scan Monday. We are finding it hard now being so far away from home. Keeping strong for Sam. Thank you to all your kind words of encouragement it helps us get through the day. Team Norris. Update on Sam`s condition, hopefully Sam`s family will get the support they require at this time
  6. I doubt very much if you were actually there, Berwick did the best they could to beat Leicester but were beaten by a better team
  7. I agree with the entirely I think Leicester have more than enough to get the job done. Berwick can win tonight but I don't see us winning by anywhere near enough on aggregate
  8. Actually he is at the track putting the covers down. Not to keep the track dry you understand no he's hiding there till just before start time anything to avoid paying
  9. Beautiful start to Saturday weather wise and forecast to stay that way.
  10. Ref cant complain about a bad view, happened right in front of him. Desperate move by Holder who should go IMO
  11. Sam had a better night after being given drugs to suppress the seizures. He has been quite restless today but we are told this normal and he has ride out the storm as the Neuro surgeon described it. Sam had a pleasant surprise with a visit from Glasgow Tigers Craig Cook accompanied by Tigers Peter Facenna. Big thank you to them for making the effort to come and visit Sam and for the bag of goodies which I'm sure Sam will enjoy wearing. Claire and Chris. Latest update on Sam.
  12. https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2655819 No problems with the weather for tomorrow.
  13. There will be a collection tomorrow night at Berwick on behalf of Sam Norris, for those who don't know Sam was riding in the British Youth Championships at Glasgow last Sunday when he suffered a serious head injury in a crash. There are updates on Sam's progress on the Youth section on the forum under the thread Young Lions, it is obvious he faces quite a battle ahead.
  14. Todays update via Facebook Unfortunately Sam didn't have a good night last night due to him having seizures. He is more settled today as he's been given drugs to lessen the effect. We have had a meeting with Sam's Neuro surgeon and we have been informed of the harsh reality that his recovery will be a long one. Keep those prays and good will coming to speed the process up for our little man. Thank you. Claire and Chris.
  15. Leicester warm up for Saturday`s second leg with an away win at Somerset. I am all for optimism, and looking on the bright side, but as already said I think Berwick have a job on just to win on the night never mind winning over two legs.
  16. Nobody in their right mind would sign Garrity or Barker
  17. Link to tonights radio coverage of the meeting https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/motorsport/48596483?fbclid=IwAR0N8jNIYiDlmQ2fzQPzC9r9Mh2Jufj9I8Fn8yktLeYtdr4649_Kq6bFrbc
  18. Would it not be easier for you to use the ignore option, you`d never need see another bjcol post ever again
  19. Why do you need a programme, you only look at the pictures.
  20. Update and hopefully positive news via Facebook Just an update on Sam we are pleased to say he has opened his eyes this afternoon on and off although he can't focus or track anyone when they talk to him. We can only hope this can improve .
  21. My season pass gets better value all the time, sadly I dont see a Final coming.
  22. Further update this morning on Sam via Facebook. Just a quick update on Sam's condition. He's now off the ventilator but still unconscious and clearly has a long way to go. Thank you for all your messages and prays we might not reply but we read every one to Sam hoping that he can hear us and knows that you're all thinking of him. He's going to win this race. Claire and Chris. For everyone who has asked yesterday's scan didn't show anything other than the original bleeds on the brain.
  23. To be honest we are on the same page regarding Gappmaier`s scoring away from Shielfield, apart from Sheffield has not been good enough and if the club were to make a change then Gappmaier could have few complaints but the Gappmaier we see away from home is not the same Gappmaier we see at home and at the end of the day there are several hundred attending home matches with just several attending away matches. I`m afraid I just dont see Pijper as the answer, yes he did well last season, but I dont see him as the answer this.
