  1. Granted, though the club reported that both riders were "refreshed and firing on all cylinders", anyway if its true that that are not fully fit you could ask whether they should be riding at all. As for over turning an 18pt gap, I admire your optimism but I think Leicester are more than capable of holding Berwick over the two legs.
  2. Not a great night for Berwick at Leicester, having gone down 54-36 making the second leg very difficult indeed, probably impossible. No doubt the knives will be out again for Gappmaier, and to a point I can well understand as a zero score away from home is no good what so ever. But could we have a look at other parts of the team, Coty Garcia, we were told at the start of the season, was going to be the heavy scoring reserve and help take the pressure off Leon Flint, what`s happened there as high scoring reserve he isnt.
  3. But its not rubbish every year, Ive been to some decent SGP at Marketa, but on last night yes that was not good though with the weather during all last week, probably understandable as getting any moisture into the track would be very difficult. Interesting to hear what tracks should be used for SGP.
  4. Gutted for the promotion, hopefully those who were going to go last night will return next Saturday, irrespective of an increase in the admission back to normal prices.
  5. So another Prague weekend done and dusted, as every the City never fails, lovely food, great weather and cheap beer. As others have said the racing wasnt up to much, giving the heat of Friday and Saturday it would just about impossible to get any moisture into the surface, one or two good races towards the end however. Last night slightly sullied by the antics of two peed up Polish fans who gave Antonio Lindback all kinds of racist abuse prior to Ht1 then disappeared just after the rain started and missed their rider winning on the night.
  6. Still very warm but there are threatening clouds around, prompt start at 7pm me thinks.
  7. It's great that you are going and its great that the promotion has done what it's there to do and attracted you down but your reasons for not going in the past i.e. lack of entertainment and weather could well reamin no matter what you pay to get in. For the meeting itself, comfortable home win.
  8. Hopefully this promotion works for the club but there is quite a few regulars out in Prague for the SGP, they will need replaced plus those who arecattracted by the lower price.
  9. Anyone have an idea of what admission is for practice and qualifying
  10. Currently enjoying a beer in old town square. It's going to be very warm for practice and qualifying
  11. I would be surprised if there wasn't tickets still available
  12. Personally I would've had Gappmaier but Garcia it is
  13. As its only a challenge match each side has been allowed a rider from the Championship, Todd Kurtz guests for the Somerset team.
  14. It will be a wonderful irony if he who cries every week about the admission price was stopped from going due to the weather. Happily for him and all others going is that the current forecast for Saturday looks very promising.
  15. No doubt you`ll be first in the queue with your £10.
  16. Says the person who has been AWOL for part of last season and all of this.
  17. Kus is still riding I believe but it seems Czech only, he has other interests away from the track now.
  18. As things stand we are yet to get a qualifier from Poland for the GP Challenge, Pawel Prezdpelski is still to ride in Germany tomorrow but its been slim pickings so far.
  19. Looks ok, this is a video released from todays practice on the Glasgow Facebook https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=glasgow tigers speedway&epa=SEARCH_BOX
