I'm surprised he isn't at the track now refusing to ride. After the shanangins atSheffield from Somerset and in particular their No1 recently I'm hoping our track team have laid on extra dirt for our visitors, they love a bit of dirt.

At time of writing its not, and hasn't for a while now.

One thing that is guaranteed on a Berwick thread is pessimism, and let us be thankful for that.

Off the back of his good score at Somerset last night Jye Etheridge has picked up a guest booking at Redcar tomorrow night riding for the injury hit Birmingham Brummies.

Creditable performance from Berwick, and were well in for a point or two until falling away in the later heats.

I thought it was the other way, where now it is narrower now than before due to when they introduced dog racing at Shielfield.

No rider should be exempt from criticism if they are not doing what they should though the fact is both Garcia and Gappmaier have increased their averages this season, Garcia`s will come down a touch as his last couple of scores have been poor, three on Saturday and one yesterday. Gappmaier`s average is pretty much made from his home scores only as his away scores apart from yesterday and at Sheffield have been poor. My own opinion is that I am in favour of team changes if they are for the good of the team and make the team stronger, I have a feeling though at Berwick team changes will come down to the budget the club is restricted by and for that reason I dont see the team changing this season.

Wouldn't disagree with you regarding Garcia, he has flattered to deceive at times though the bottom line is he has improved his average and thats all you can ask for.

For what its worth I enjoyed Saturday`s meeting as IMO I got value for money and that's all I ask for, I look forward to more of the same this week hopefully. Decent racing and a surprise home win.
