  1. Enjoyable meeting with lots of close racing and run at a decent pace even with a nasty accident at the start of Ht10. Danny Gappmaier was the star of the night but proves just what an infuriating rider he is, hopefully we will see Danny take last nights form into today. Scott Nicholls was a joy to watch yet again at Berwick and was worth much more his 8pts and as mentioned earlier it was great to see Summers, Douglas and Bates get up after tangling at the first bend at the start of Ht10, hopefully Jye Etheridge will be able to take his place in today's match. All in all in good meeting with value for money with an excellent turn out from Leicester.
  2. It does indeed, that must mean that NB Jacobsen is racing though just to be on the safe side I'd count the rider's in the pits before hand as I thought they were only going to add up to six. Maybe Seb Alden has brought a bike with him.
  3. The drizzle we had earlier has past and things are looking better now. Clouds seem much higher and its dry. Excellent preview of tonight's meeting with all the latest team news over on the official site.
  4. Leicester fans should be able to stand or sit where ever they like.
  5. The ending to that story was that Peter didn't bother telling Dym that he had been dropped, right up to the point that Dym turned up at Berwick the following week only to find he had been replaced.
  6. Aaron Summers 7.18 - 7.75 NB Jacobsen 6.58 - 6.92 Jye Etheridge 6.30 - 5.65 Kevin Doolan 6.09 - 6.47 Danny Gappmaier 4.84 - 5.32 Coty Garcia 4.47 - 5.20 Leon Flint 2.00 - 3.00 First figure is starting average, second is current average as of a couple of days ago. The team average at the start of the season was 37.46, currently it is 40.31
  7. Forecast for today, currently drizzling. https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2655819
  8. Very possible but with low/dwindling crowds a home defeat wont do anything to help things. As others have said its pretty much all about home meetings.
  9. Thanks, a guest would be the best way to go to win this meeting. Maybe trying to save money.
  10. Unsure on this weeks rules but would Berwick have the option of using a guest for Jakobsen, that IMO would've been the better option.
  11. Away win for me by something similar to the cup semi a few weeks ago. I think lack of race winners will be our un-doing.
  12. I think in 2017 the then team manager and No1 had a big say in how the track was prepared. You would like to think something along the same lines would be happening now but I am not sure it is. Track prep seems so inconsistent IMO.
  13. The club will certainly have moved up a notch if we are now using carrier pigeon.
  14. NB Jacobsen missing for Poole tomorrow night for their meeting at Ipswich where in the same meeting Kevin Doolan comes in as guest for the Pirates.
  15. He only has to spell X, shouldn't be to much of a task.
  16. Hard to keep up with all the movements these days, seems a case of now you see him now you dont. With any team change the whole point is to make your team stronger which this does especially getting Max Clegg back down to reserve where he was a decent scorer.
  17. Still a couple of meetings to re-arrange but as things stand our last meeting is 8 weeks on Saturday, changes in a few weeks will be a bit late and make no sense what so ever.
  18. Speed is the one thing Benny didn't have, not one of Peter`s best.
  19. The only thing we smile at is the fact that you think we cant see through your many user names.
  20. You have many valid points in your argument, I don't think anyone can be happy with a rider who only scores or seems bothered about scoring in home meetings then scores zero or next to zero everything he ventures past Haggerston castle. Thing is I don't see any changes on the horizon, by the looks of things the club just doesn't have the money for loan fees, wages etc. It must be said that Gappmaier isn't the only under performer in the team.
  21. http://www.sheffield-speedway.com/fixtures19 Sheffield`s fixtures for the rest of the season, IMO Glasgow looks most attractive.
