Fuss about not to much IMO, not every rider shakes hand or acknowledges other riders after each race, for me its all down to the individual rider.

Jye is having his collar bone plated today with a view of speeding up his recovery, he is looking to be back for our next home meeting.
-
Ignore the score the racing was better than it suggests, as for Sargeant it sounded like he snapped a chain or the chain jumped off so after than he was a passenger going into the corner.

Artur Moroczka suffered a broken wrist which needed surgery during the last week. -
Glasgow are a decent team and will win many home meetings so losing last isnt a disaster, worst part for Berwick is losing Jye Etheridge with a broken collar bone.
-
Confirmed that Jye Etheridge has suffered a broken collar bone in his accident last night so R/R will cover his rides tonight. Best wishes to Jye on a speedy recovery. A tough task just got a bit tougher with now a team of six but if Coty Garcia, who should be a busy boy tonight, can carry on his good start to the season Berwick can still win. No problems with the weather, right now its dry and bright, if a bit chilly and forecast to stay that way.

The Glasgow site is showing the Berwick team with Doolan, Gappmaier and Ethridge at numbers two three and four. After switching Kevin Doolan and Jye Etheridge round at Newcastle wouldnt Berwick be better doing the same for Glasgow. https://www.glasgowtigers.org/cami-ready-for-rivals-old-and-new/

Cook will make a reasonably healthy living from Glasgow and being one of the top riders in the Championship, Craig himself says he still has the ambition to make it back into SGP, without any top level racing in either Poland or Sweden and now without a Premiership club he`s further away from the GP`s than ever.

Newcastle Diamonds vs Berwick Bandits CS
screm replied to mike7164's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Over the last few seasons our record away from home has poor to say the least, so lets not get carried away. We have Glasgow home and away at the end of the week, do well in those meetings and we really could be onto something. However for tonight lets celebrate a great win at Newcastle. -

Away wins are a very rare thing for Berwick, so I`m sure this one will be celebrated well into the night. Excellent win and well team managed with the right riders being replaced in the right races. For Berwick to early to get carried away, but what a great win, while for Newcastle to early to panic but they need to improve especially at home. -

Meeting re-arranged for this Wednesday April 10th. -
Not quite as much excitement this week as last mainly down to track conditions which was heavy and also that Newcastle never really got going until the second half of the meeting and by then Berwick held a decent lead. Excellent from Steven Worrall and Lasse Bjerre once he got his bike going while the two Newcastle reserves were disappointing. Berwick were strong throughout but young reserve Leon Flint caught the eye most, scoring in all his rides which is way more than should be expected from him.

As long as fingers are no where near a keyboard I think we are all happy.
