  1. More clouds than this morning but still very bright, warm and dry. Safe journey over and enjoy your night.
  2. Lovely start to race day and forecast just about to stay that way. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2655819 IMO Berwick have a job on tonight to get a home win, even with a full team it would be a difficult meeting so it will be even harder with a depleted team in particularly losing David Howe who has been in sparkling form, Danny Gappmaier was always going to miss this meeting due to SGP Qualifiers though whether he will take is place in that meeting now due to injury might be in doubt.
  3. According to this he is only taking a break from racing for Sheffield. http://www.birminghambrummies.co/news.php?extend.2468
  4. No David Howe for Berwick this week, unsure as to the fitness of both our reserves, Payne and Gappmaier, who both were withdrawn from our meeting last Saturday. Rain Gods can do as much dancing as they want at Berwick, we have that covered.
  5. http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/16756/peterborough-workington-sgbc-29-7pm
  6. Predictable home win but none of us gave Scunthorpe much of a chance of getting anything other than a hammering so credit to them. Scunthorpe fans must be wondering what would've happened had Ryan Douglas fired.
  7. Nobody fancy Matej Kus, I think he is back racing now after injury.
  8. I agree, though you`d think it would be only common sense for Danny to let the club know he was injured.
  9. Yes you are right, but Coty`s scorers must have left the Redcar promotion thinking to turn the temporary arrangement into a permanent one. If Coty is released you can guarantee he would be long before he`s in another team.
  10. When Ellis Perks average changes I think Coty will find himself at reserve for Redcar, IMO making it lees likely they will get rid of him. I would stick with the team we have now.
  11. I agree but on the evidence last night as well as his performances for Redcar since going there I think they would be crazy to get rid of him.
  12. Not sure we would be allowed to resign Carr having sacked just a few weeks ago, if he had signed for another Premiership club then was released we would have more of a chance. Personally I think we should stick with the seven we have now, Gappmaier has proved to be a good scorer this season, and IMO we should give Etheridge a go at reserve he will be mounted on new equipment next Saturday, seems up for the job and wants to well for the club.
  13. Whats on.....only the biggest meeting in club speedway as Falubaz take on Stal Gorzow.
  14. Great to hear, it was a nasty one. Few days fishing and you will be brand new.
  15. Seems our team managers thinks the same regarding Gappmaier, I agree with you on Roynon, he can`t be on Berwick`s radar surely.
  16. Hopefully Howe will be back sooner rather than later, if that`s the case I think we can cover his rides with R/R. As the averages stand I think Doolan, Bridger, Gappmaier and the reserves can be used.
  17. Berge and Vissing both available though with having a contract in Poland that could rule Vissing out.
  18. To be fair to Lewis, or any other rider, when you get the chance of the kind of sponsorship deal Revolution were offering it would be very difficult to turn down. Clearly a switch to GM engines has worked for Bridger though.
  19. Once again at Berwick track covers save the day, there may be fans out there shouting change the record but that`s now four meetings we have seen when if for no covers we wouldn't, saving fans, club and riders money not to mention trying to re-arrange fixtures. I know track covers wont be for every club, and maybe Berwick wouldnt have if not for the tie up with Olympic Marques, but its proved beyond doubt that they do work. As for the meeting itself Berwick were up against it before the horrific Ht9 crash, though Berwick are having no luck at the minute with losing Etheridge last week then Payne, Howe and Gappmaier last night. Berwick had no answer to the excellent Garrity and Redcar have a trump card in Perks in the reserve position.
  20. Havent heard any update on Danny Ayres so hopefully no news is good news, David Howe hurts all over, also he thinks he has broken some ribs and just a chance of a broken arm though that is yet to be confirmed. Danny Ayres has declared himself fit to ride today in the Cradley v Lakeside meeting.
  21. Inside stadium track staff now starting to take covers off, leave an extra five minutes as the stewards are doing bag searches at the turnstiles. Looking brighter now looks like covers might save the day again.
  22. Yes we have had a proper thunderstorm. At the track and it's still raining
