  1. Liking your optimism, though giving Berwick`s form so far this season there was not much top back up the away win claims.
  2. Hard on the heels from winning the latest round in the British Championships Leon Flint has now announced a new racing partner. This lad is clearly going places. https://www.leonflintracing.com/single-post/2017/05/18/Flint-Announces-Silkolene-Partnership
  3. Berwick are planning to cover the track in the morning in a bid to save tomorrows meeting from a poor forecast, they posted the following message on their Facebook page. Due to the ever changing forecast we are looking for volunteers to help us cover the track in the morning. We plan to have all hands on deck between 8/8:30am but we are dictated to by the forecast. If things change we will keep you informed. Thanks in advance and feel free to share as many hands make light work of a job only our great club is currently undertaking anywhere in the speedway world! Free Teas and Coffees will be on hand for all helpers.
  4. It is a bit of an odd one, you tell the rider he is being sacked then offer him a chance to race this Thursday, I bet Hall`s reply was quite colourful to say the least.
  5. I hear Redcar are about to replace Richard Hall.
  6. I will be popping my Torun cherry later this year and I`m thoroughly looking forward to it.
  7. Yes you are right which makes the chances of seeing Harris as guest next Friday all the more remote.
  8. Even through Google translate this still come out as rubbish.
  9. Current Premiership average of 9-21, Berwick are allowed a guest up to 9-42, so going with the those figures and by the time you alter Harris`s average he may be a bit to high.
  10. Newcastle at Edinburgh next Friday so Worrall is a no go sadly.
  11. Any chance of Berwick getting anything from this meeting probably ended when Lewis Bridger pulled out, added to that a poor return from Gappmaier and Doolan getting to 41pts was a bit of an achievement. Big plus for Berwick was new signing David Howe, onto our next chance of points at Peterborough who's own confidence must be low after a home defeat last night.
  12. As long as he hasn't got a case of the Vissings then we will be fine.
  13. No luck for Berwick, no sooner that they get Bridger scoring and he falls ill and is missing.
  14. Ht12 WHAT A SPEEDWAY RACE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Not sure if I would go so far as saying it was a terrible decision though I can see the counter argument, Pedersen left the door open, it wasn't like Zagar was going to hang back and let Pedersen make the corner first.
  16. Tough call on Zagar there, but IMO the ref got it just about right.
  17. First three heats will certainly do for me, keep this up and we are in for a cracking night.
  18. Carr proved towards the end of last season that he was a more than capable reserve and turned in some match winning performances, sadlt this season he has found the jump into the main team a bit of a struggle, resulting in him being dropped. Hopefully dropping into the NL will see a return in confidence and scoring that will make Liam a very attractive signing on a 3pt average come 2018, not unless he returns to Championship racing before the end of the current season of course and if he continues to score as he is at the minute that`s a real possibility.
  19. Trapped in that terrible Revolution deal ?. Really ?.
  20. As far as Berwick`s concerned, vetoed on what grounds, as I said yesterday Berwick`s team change is within the rules set out by the BSPA in that Gappmaier has yet to complete 4h 4a, the integrity of the sport such as it is remains intact. Believe if Berwick were in the wrong I would say so, have they fortunate with one rained off meeting to keep Gappmaier on a 4pt average, yes, but that`s about it.
  21. No fuss, Berwick`s team including Howe is perfectly legal, Gappmaier has not yet completed 4h 4a and so doesn't yet qualify for a proper average so stays on an assessed average. It wasn't Berwick who decided to do away with rolling averages and its hardly Berwick`s fault that the meeting at Ipswich was rained off so Carr leaves with Howe coming in.
  22. I applaud the club for making this decision, cant have been easy but results and scores dont lie. Sadly Liam has found his place in the top five a bit of a struggle this season and his scores have been poor, the club have giving him time to improve but sadly there was no sign of that happening and IMO even a drop to reserve wouldn't have made much difference. Hopefully for Liam he can get his scores and his confidence back at Birmingham and come back stronger next season, on what should be a very attractive average.
