Berwick are planning to cover the track in the morning in a bid to save tomorrows meeting from a poor forecast, they posted the following message on their Facebook page. Due to the ever changing forecast we are looking for volunteers to help us cover the track in the morning. We plan to have all hands on deck between 8/8:30am but we are dictated to by the forecast. Carr proved towards the end of last season that he was a more than capable reserve and turned in some match winning performances, sadlt this season he has found the jump into the main team a bit of a struggle, resulting in him being dropped. Hopefully dropping into the NL will see a return in confidence and scoring that will make Liam a very attractive signing on a 3pt average come 2018, not unless he returns to Championship racing before the end of the current season of course and if he continues to score as he is at the minute that`s a real possibility.

As far as Berwick`s concerned, vetoed on what grounds, as I said yesterday Berwick`s team change is within the rules set out by the BSPA in that Gappmaier has yet to complete 4h 4a, the integrity of the sport such as it is remains intact. Believe if Berwick were in the wrong I would say so, have they fortunate with one rained off meeting to keep Gappmaier on a 4pt average, yes, but that`s about it.
