  1. One of many rumours, like the one of at least 2 other PL promotions are supposedly interested, its a real rumour fest right now with Berwick.
  2. Well there`s one promise you won`t be keeping. Great to see Leon getting more experience with another meeting on the continent and he will have his very own fan club there to support him.
  3. There was no need for Topsoil`s post, you are as entitled to your opinion on the goings on at Berwick, or any other club for that matter than anyone else.
  4. I think Wajknecht has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to injury.
  5. It would certainly get my interest, flights from Edinburgh to Amsterdam look pretty reasonable.
  6. We have debated this subject more than once and never come to any conclusion either way, I wont hold my breath that this thread will be any different.
  7. Take your point but we don`t know Charlie was paid for her interview and if she was she may have donated to one of the charities she supports.
  8. So many rumours though, probably not to many true. I`d back Scott Courtney to remain as manager, he has made a mistake or two this season but I believe has the savvy to learn from those mistakes and this season will have giving him some experience that will make him a better manager in the future. There are many things to be changed at Berwick Speedway but the team manager isn't one of them.
  9. Interview with Charlie, sounds like she is one lucky lady. https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/1765967/sports-presenter-charlie-webster-says-she-was-moments-from-death-during-her-olympics-coma-nightmare-after-she-contracted-malaria-in-rio/
  10. Like I said before its something worth looking at, maybe the ELRC could be on a Friday away from play off meetings in Poland and not on a GP weekend.
  11. I did, I also read post 2 that points out there is a GP in Australia in October where the GP riders who race in our EL will be heading to, this years is on Oct 22nd.
  12. Lambert is fit to ride in tonight's meeting. https://www.instagram.com/p/BKP3wYNBS1K/
  13. We`ve seen SGP go to Croatia, Italy and Finland, hardly speedway hot beds so why not Holland. As has been mentioned its unlikely there will be any new venues for 2017 but some for 2018.
  14. Far to long I agree but it was two meetings, I was at the PL 4`s a couple or three years ago where it was another six hour meeting, mainly down to accidents and injured riders.
  15. Decent idea in principle but probably unworkable in practice, for example had the three meetings had taken place in the weekend just gone, and the ELRC had been yesterday you wouldve had no Doyle, Woffinden, Holder, Kasprzak, Zagar, NKI, or Nicholls all racing in Poland, though Nicholls missed his due to a delayed flight but still take all those riders away and your left with a poorer version of what should be a decent meeting.
  16. Bit more like it from Torun in Ht4, after the first two meetings we could do with a performance from an away team here.
  17. Very disappointing to hear, you`d think Doolan would be proud to represent Berwick in this meeting, maybe he should've pulled out and let Jorgensen have a go.
  18. You could say that in previous years maybe but all the top riders in the PL have made it to Sheffield with only Kennett and Lambert missing out due to injury.
  19. Certainly going to be a strange looking team that Somerset bring to Edinburgh, with Swindon at Lakeside they will be without Tungate, Wright and Grajzconek. Don`t know the fitness of Dan Bewley but Belle Vue Colts have a NL meeting at Coventry this Friday and as this is a re-arranged fixture will Coventry have first call on his services, should he be fit to ride.
  20. Good idea but how many of the riders would actually do it.
  21. You`d think Workington might need Hansen for their meeting at Newcastle.
  22. Edward Kennett pulled up in his last ride, and has with drawn from today's PLRC due to injury so Rye may need a guest at No1.
  23. Edward Kennet has pulled out of the PLRC due to injury. Kyle Howarth now comes into replace Kennett.
  24. No suspicious decision, Kennett did get it just on the line. Man up, we`ve sat shivering through June, July and August, trust to luck that our season is over and we get half decent weather for the last meeting or two.
