Did we need a thread just for this, most of us had worked out already that either ignoring the posts on your own or by the ignore feature will help stop spreading the manure.

Palovaara at reserve is a huge plus for Newcastle in their play off push, the prospect of seven rides rides for him should see him racking up big points.

Berwick V Workington (27 August) 7pm
screm replied to crescent girl's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Once the fog lifted this morning its turned out to be a nice day today in Berwick, and a repeat is forecast for tomorrow. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2655819 -
earlier in the season the Chairman of the BSPA no less told us the rule book would be ripped up and simplified, and not a moment to soon IMO and its often some of speedways daftest ruling that get in the way of what should be fairly simple sport to govern.

Doesn't that only come in to play when both have the same race night and are racing against one another.

Poole V Leicester Elb Wednesday 24th August.
screm replied to SteveLyric2's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The strength of the Leicester team tonight is laughable, Poole will hit mid to high sixties. -
It seems ludicrous to say a six year problem is the reason for your poor performances though it does look at times Harris will blame anything rather than himself.

And I believe it still will be.

Charlie Webster Fighting For Her Life

Completely agree I thought Nigel Pearson should've mentioned Charlie at some point last night, very poor IMO. -
I think there is probably a couple of posters who are waiting to be told what their opinion is.

Quite a statement from Somerset today. -
I agree with you though I think we need to get past Rye House first, we need to hope that bother Belle Vue and Kings Lynn are busy on those nights, that at least would take away Worrall and Lambert.

Piffle, there is now reason why Kennett couldn't have been at Plymouth, had he really wanted to of course, which is where the truth probably lies. -
Even if covers had been laid Friday afternoon before the rain came I doubt they would've saved this meeting as it rained well into the evening last night meaning we would never had got anything like 15 heats. I take Fromafar`s point about covers but they do come to the rescue of some meetings and more clubs should be looking at them as they help to avoid the situation we have now where clubs are forced to run financial crippling double headers or run meetings on off nights just to try and make the cut off date. Only problem could be where clubs are the tenants and their stadium owners aren't keen for covers to be on the speedway track.

Rye House tie far from over, Berwick should do enough to get through but with so many defeats lately confidence must be low.

One Berwick rider who was racing last night was Leon Flint, he was racing in Round 7 of the 250cc Youth Championships at Eastbourne, where he won to extend his lead at the top of the current standings. One Berwick rider who is going places.

To much rain, right decision.
