  1. So dont go, I would love to go to a Cardiif GP but I refuse to pay the kind of prices your quoting, for half the money I would pay for flights, hotel, tickets etc I get a weekend in Prague for the GP with decent tickets, reasonable hotel and spending money to.
  2. If Tai`s move has been blocked, where do Wolves go.
  3. Agree with most of what you say, especially on machinery, though there has always been the have and the have nots so right now you will always get the better riders ready and willing to pay the big money for equipment and on tuners. The market place is almost all down to GM`s, hopefully if JRM and the new GTR become successful then with a bit of competition that might help, especially the GTR engine that apparently doesn't need servicing so often.
  4. Devil will be in the details as always but it probably not the wisest thing to do to blurt out a tweet as Tai did earlier. For the sake of Team GB lets hope there`s a re-think over the winter.
  5. It always nice to look back to the past and reminisce, but I wouldn't want to live in the past. Peter makes some very valid points but time and Berwick Speedway has moved on, what I do think is that if the current promotion are going to be here long term then there are issues that need looked at, updated and revamped, maybe a change in thinking and direction if needed.
  6. Never mind that I want to know how he went from Berwick to Peterborough in two and a half hours, hopefully the cameras will have picked him up.
  7. That's the problem Berwick faced recently when looking for a replacement for Alden.
  8. Stachyra by his own admission has had no regular racing for the last couple or three seasons, then at the start of this season he picked up an injury so he is well behind everyone who has been racing regularly. He plans to finish the season with Berwick then race in the Argentinian Championships through our winter before returning next season, maybe to Berwick.
  9. First half of this meeting largely uneventful with races won from the gate, second was better highlighted by a truly great HT13 with the superb Craig Cook passing both Berwick riders, you will watch a lot of speedway before you see a race better than that, sad then that one or two, and it was only one or two, decided to boo Cook as he took his well deserved lap of honour. As I say Cook was good, but the Peterborough match winner IMO was Ashley Morris whose scoring from reserve swung the meeting. No complaints from me about Berwick, last night they were beaten by a better team, as our scores suggest we are lacking an out and out No1 which hopefully will be looked at when putting next years team together.
  10. Didn't have much to eat then as it doesn't open till five on a Saturday.
  11. I think the Berwick reserves will see them through especially Liam Carr is in great form right now. Cook and Ostergaard are the big threats for Peterborough.
  12. Best ignored. You must give Annan some sort of chance though, you might be about to see two away wins.
  13. There`s no fool like an old fool. Though I think that Facebook page has been there for a while.
  14. Much better forecast for tomorrow, so you will get to see some speedway.
  15. Speedway Star ‏@speedwaystarmag 15m15 minutes ago Rye House Rockets reserve Peter Karger has resigned from the team following complications with a broken wrist. Robert Branford replaces him.
  16. Come off it please, you know full well that Poole should win this meeting by plenty points.
  17. poole speedway ‏@poolespeedway 51s52 seconds ago KING'S LYNN - T. Batchelor, R/R. , R. Schlein, B. Morley, R. Lambert, N. Busk-Jakobsen, L. Rose
  18. Dont think it will make much difference as I fully expect Poole to take a full point away win.
  19. Well even if the Edinburgh weather gives you a night off, you have two trips to Shielfield on Saturday, enough excitement for one weekend surely.
  20. If your going down that route then based on the last time Woffinden for in the EL he was a 7pt average rider. Wolves are a good team and will be a force in the play offs but there is no way its guaranteed.
