  1. I believe that Josh Pickering is about to become a Tiger in the Premiership.
  2. Well done to Birmingham on signing Batchelor, you have my upmost sympathy.
  3. If the Berwick team manager and/or the Berwick management believe they lost last night due to Jorgensen`s engine or a general lack of luck then they are deluded, and its all well and good saying what`s gone is gone and lets move on, maybe sometimes you need to look at the reasons why you are losing on a regular bases, especially at home. How about a lack of race winners, only four last night. It should also be remembered that Oxford lost a rider in Ht1 and had a rider scoring zero, so Berwick were beaten by a five man team.
  4. He was signed on an unachievable average, started the season as No1 and now finds himself as second heat leader. He has won one race at home this season, one, and but for Ryan Douglas`s engine failure he wouldn't have won that one.
  5. Jorgensen was a poor signing at the start of the season, and he`s getting steadily worse. This wouldn't be tolerated at most other clubs.
  6. So I think Riss is an excellent choice of guest, his record around Berwick tells you that. If he continues that form Berwick should have enough to win.
  7. Home win. Riss makes the difference as he is a genuine No1 in this Berwick team.
  8. Certainly gives Berwick a strong top two, my only issue is that arguably our best rider will have had all his programmed rides by Ht10, after which he will have to wait till Ht15 to have another race.
  9. Its the main attraction, and one of the reasons I go. And I don't have a car.
  10. Only in speedway could you have team managers doubling up.
  11. http://birmingham-speedway.com/news.php?extend.3308
  12. German SGP, Champions League Final in Istanbul, Sam Fender performing at St James Park and The Proclaimers are at Kelso. Another perfect storm ?.
  13. Berwick`s error was not taking advantage of Jonas Knudson`s false average over the winter, they compounded that by signing Thomas Jorgensen on a falsely high average.
  14. Berwick wont think like that though.
  15. If Berwick have any real ambitions to reach the play offs then more than one change is needed, time will tell if they have and the necessary team changes take place. Sadly most of us know the answer to that.
  16. Paul Starke and Jacob Hook now available, any takers ?.
  17. Not the greatest match in Poland today for Leon Flint as he scores zero from two rides in Ostrow`s match at Stal Gorzow.
  18. Luke Becker has made his track return in todays SGP Qualifier in Zarnocica, he has finished in 3rd place with 12pts. The meeting was won by Martin Vaculik.
