  1. Ukraine v England in the football, England v Argentina in the rugby, free guided walks along the Union Chain Bridge along with a silent film with live music at Norham Village Hall all creates the perfect storm that will see many not bothering tonight, and no amount of free parking will save the day. Personally the tripe that I sat through in Glasgow`s demolition of Berwick a few weeks ago was enough to end my season there and then and the efforts at Scunthorpe last night have done nothing to convince otherwise. Also the apathy shown from both clubs is another good reason not to bother.
  2. Unfortunately for Berwick, its normally them that are doing the chasing at Shielfield, and to be honest they`re no great shakes at it giving our home record.
  3. Scunthorpe wanted to win by 26pts then, yet more slim pickings on the road for Berwick. A 1pt return for a former sgp rider and a sgp winner to boot is quite frankly embarrassing.
  4. Hasnt been the best of weeks for Plymouth. http://scbgb.co.uk/news.php?extend.161.1
  5. Proof if proof were needed that making changes just for the sake of it isn't the way to go most of the time. The team manager should have a few questions to answer.
  6. Sums things up perfectly when a rider is off chasing the big pennies in Poland first chance he gets, so much for loyalty. Funny thing is Redcar seem quite happy with it. If you allow riders to take an inch, don't be surprised if they take a mile.
  7. Home win by as much or as little as the home side want.
  8. Difficult to know what to make of the Craig Cook situation without knowing the whole story. What is clear is that not to many seasons ago Craig was right up there as one of the top riders at Championship level and a very decent rider at Premiership level, now he is a shadow of that rider, which is sad to see but time moves on and maybe Craig`s time has come to do something else.
  9. Absolutely, Worralls private test isn't in question as I am sure it showed whatever Worrall claims it showed, however its the Plymouth test where the issue is and the one that sees Worrall`s license currently suspended, if Worrall can provide evidence to show the test was faulty, or the test is just plain wrong then fine.
  10. Worrall failed his test on Tuesday night, I`m not sure what his private test proves or does not prove, maybe he is saying the test that he took at Plymouth on Tuesday was faulty. It still doesn't alter the fact that he has a case to answer on his failed test on Tuesday.
  11. Phillips at it again, this time at Birmingham.

  13. Craig Cook receives a thirty day ban for withholding his services.
  14. The Berwick match reports are usually a thing of fiction, half truths and balderdash, with a smattering of poor sentences and poorer spelling thrown in for good measure.
  15. Jye Etheridge riding himself into the 2024 Plymouth team hopefully.
  16. With Tai Woffinden already injured and facing a spell out I cant see the bosses at Sparta Wroclaw being to happy that Artem Laguta is crashing and pulling out of meetings racing for Peterborough, I think there`ll be a word in the Peterborough`s No1 when he returns to Poland.
  17. Don`t disagree with you, thing is there will be a promoter somewhere that is desperate or daft enough to sign Batchelor in the belief that they can manage him back to former glories.
  18. Congratulations to Glasgow on their win. Just like the CLRC at Redcar a few days ago its sad to see riders either pulling out or just not wanting to race in the first place, you would think that riders would do everything possible to represent their club and the fans of that club who support them through the season. Alas it appears not. As for the antics from Troy Batchelor, I`m surprised anyone is surprised anymore.
  19. Its really very easy. Pedersen left Peterborough for Taresenko, so Richie Worrall left Peterborough to join Leicester so Harris left Leicester to join Peterborough while Robert Lambert joined Kings Lynn so Laguta could join Peterborough and they're all gonna miss the play-offs god i love Speedway...
