  1. Wet overnight but happily that has all cleared to leave a very decent day, and forecast to stay that way.
  2. I wouldn't disagree with you but I doubt any rider would be happy to race todays bikes as the track was back then, and to be honest we look back at those days and probably make them out to be better than they actually were. Anyway how the track was then doesn't solve todays issues. Now I am quite happy to concede the Berwick will never win the league, we just don't have enough money in the club by way of main team sponsor, race sponsor and any other kind of sponsor for that matter especially when you look at the kind of budgets other, big city, teams are working to, and most of them are failing to win the league to. So what I want is value for money, something that has been very scarce at Berwick this season, take tonight, I have not pre-bought a ticket and I am struggling to find enough reasons to go.
  3. No doubt there will be a million and one excuses about last night's debacle at Glasgow but the bottom line is this team just isn't good enough in any way shape or form.
  4. You can widen the track as much as you want but if you prepare a track where there is virtually only one line then what you do with the rest is next to useless.
  5. Saved that money its true but with the crowds levels that were reported to be at the meetings there must've been heavy financial losses.
  6. Berwick Bandits had 3 home matches between 6th May to 22nd July, that tells you everything you need to know about the fixture schedule.
  7. Morris hasn't been found guilty of failing a drug test though, he has pleaded guilty of refusing to provide one, there will be some who see that as an admission of a failed one had he chosen to take of course. One question though, do we know the reason why he refused to take a test.
  8. Will we ever see Morris racing over here again, long two years ahead for him.
  9. What a shambles to add to a long list of shambles this season, one or two seem to involve Kings Lynn. One things for sure this meeting should be declared a walk over for Ipswich with the full points awarded to them.
  10. Thankfully Berwick have gone back to the tried and tested successful way of running a team with at least three reserves in it. I suspect a march up the league starts on Friday at Glasgow.
  11. If I had the money I`d wager many many pounds against it.
  12. BSPL busy looking at how many races can they get away with so they dont have to pay out on re-admissions.
  13. I`d give it to Ritchie Worrall just to see if he had the shame to take it.
  14. It would be foolish to hide behind the football being on the gives us the kind of track preparation and track entertainment this season and in other seasons to be honest. In other news Jye Etheridge`s ridiculous fine after his Redcar shenanigans has been quashed.
  15. Interesting that Tai Woffinden couldn't put himself forward for a place now he`s back in British speedway.
  16. Yes Yes probably Hope you enjoy your visit
  17. Thanks to NUFC I was spared last night, does that make me not a proper fan, I will leave that to others, anyway seems to be that I missed yet another unacceptable showing from a team of riders that are clearly not up to the job. Lack of race winners yet again leads to a home defeat yet again. Onto Glasgow for more of the same I would suspect.
  18. Hearing its Anderson and Knudson out with Borke and good old R/R replacing.
