Yes I agree, it a chicken or egg situation.

Mr Harkess represented Edinburgh at both days of the Conference, though he did have to rush back to Armadale to manage the Monarchs team in their Play Off Final against Glasgow.

In some ways I get what acclennell says, fans do need an attractive team to go and watch, and yes at some tracks promotions do seem to have become lazy at attracting fans who no longer fancy a night at the speedway, but I don't put Newcastle in that. History tells us that their promotion know how to put a top team together, maybe 2016 will be one of those years.

I`m picking rain, I am sure Dandelion will come up with a better one.

Why not just support your team, over the years Newcastle have had more good than bad seasons, you cant just show your support during the good years....can you.

King had quite a decent season racing in the Polish leagues so would need to give up on a contract there, haven't seen him fixed up in Poland yet but still think he won't be the Diamonds No1 next season.

Expect an announcement over the weekend regarding next season.

Nothing just thought everyone would like to know that Sedgeman had gone to Swindon.

Scunthorpe Scorpions 2016?
screm replied to Paul Johnson's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Fair enough.......pal. -
Halls finishing average will have made him quite an attractive signing for someone, and signing for a Thursday night track, and his parent club makes all kinds of sense, and I wish him well. Thing is though IMO I think Berwick are well served in the reserve department in Matty Wethers and though not announced yet hopefully Liam Carr.

Scunthorpe Scorpions 2016?
screm replied to Paul Johnson's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
In signing Davies, as they have with Poole, haven't Scunthorpe got two riders who are still to qualify for a visa to ride over here next season. -
Dont there was ever much of a chance that Hall was coming back to Berwick, and giving some of his scores I am quite happy about, it seemed at times last season that Alex Edberg copped most of the flack, but Halls scores were equally poor, plus the fact that Hall missed meetings due to his Longtracking.

Haven't read the Ipswich thread for a few days, is the last two or three pages worth reading people ?.

Best wishes to Scott Courtney on becoming team manager, delighted Berwick have addressed the problem of team manager and bringing in a former rider is a sensible move.
-
If the EL are looking at fixed night racing, one or two are suggesting Fridays, which would mean Coventry Storm would race their home fixtures on another, though I don't see Fridays for the EL workable so you may well be right.
-
With Max Clegg signing on for the Monarchs, the chances of Liam Carr signing for Berwick must've increased.

I have God following me on Twitter, that doesn't make me Jesus.

Doolan should be in next years team IMO, consistent and reliable scorer in the middle order of the team. Not sure about Kozza, he has missed virtually three seasons due to injuries and vise issues, hopefully his injuries are on the mend but he will need a top four place in his State Finals to secure the chance of a team place over here next season. Allegedly.

All in two syllable words as well.

No thinking needed your right, still don't see him at Workington though.
