Must admit Gjedde is a bit of an odd signing, I mean its not like he seemed to be on anyone's shopping list during this close season. If he can get back to the kind of form he had a few seasons ago, all well and good, but beware signing the rider who has spent the kind of time away from regular racing like Gjeede has.
Note to Berwick Promotion, this time next year please please dont be signing our team so soon, you can sign the riders but please no early announcements, or this is what we end up with.
Ok this could be open to abuse, rider in the team has a couple of stinker rides, says he is injured and pulls out of the meeting so the reserve can get a couple of rides. Even if that were to happen it still has to be better than the situation we had where a team is penalised through no fault of their own.
Some Berwick fans will hope that is the case.
Thought Garcia might miss out on a team place over here for next season, so happy he has his chance with Glasgow. Agree with you on Garcia, sometimes at Berwick his kit wasn't the best, hopefully for him mounted on better bikes he will be a decent scorer for the Tigers.
Fitness may be Vissing`s biggest question to answer next season, if he returns to the form he had pre last seasons injury then Workington have made a good signing. Hopefully Claus has an injury free, and successful season with the Comets next season.
Thankfully my team have kept their prices at 2015 prices, must admit £17-50 for an afternoons speedway seems very steep and will probably see some unable to afford to go every week. The Glasgow promotion has done many good things for the cities speedway team, but I think they`ve made a mistake with this one.
If that`s the script he sticks in 2016 then all is well, but if his scores are poor at Stal Gorzow then you can bet pressure will be brought upon Kasprazak to give one his other leagues a miss, and that could be Coventry, and as others have said he has form, maybe not at Coventry though.
I agree, it was debated earlier about how much practice the Team GB boys would get on the new track in Manchester, Nicholls and Craig Cook for that matter could be trump cards come the SWC Final giving the amount of laps they will do with Belle Vue.
