  1. Giving that Peterborough pushed all the way last night I`m surprised they haven't gone for a guest tonight, a decent choice might've made this meeting a bit closer than IMO it will be tonight.
  2. The visit of a full strength Peterborough would've been one of the highlights of our season, now they come with a weakened yet talented team. I`m sure Bjerre, Ostergaard and Co with make things awkward for Berwick but this should be a fairly comfortable home win. Undecided, I`m working today & tomorrow so the thought of a weakened Peterborough team doesn't exactly quicken the pulse. Also on GP nights I forgo watching it live, I record the GP, and take my place at Shielfield, only over recent GP nights there`s been updates giving out both from the centre green and box, something that is a bit of a bug bare of mine.
  3. Yes that's what heard, aliens in Berwick on a Saturday night. If the Redcar promotion are happy to let that kind of thing get into their programme, then IMO its up to them to back up such claims, but this has been done to death surely.
  4. With Ryan Fisher withdrawing from last nights meeting at Edinburgh, after coming down twice, there must be a doubt about him riding tonight, if he cant make it it is to be hoped that Peterborough can employ an adequate guest, already weakened they don't want to be losing their best rider. Decent start weather-wise in Berwick this morning, and the forecast is good is no problems for tonight meeting.
  5. Thanks for those words, welcome to a Berwick thread, some don't have an opinion unless its officially announced, others like to points score from a pedestal. Me, I don't take this forum all that serious.
  6. He`s mechanic for Vissing this season so he should be there.
  7. I promise to strive, that one day I , yes I, will be able to hold the morale high ground.
  8. No come on lets be fair it wouldn't be a Berwick thread without someone taking the high ground.
  9. Sorry Somerset fans, but with a weakened Berwick team a poor weather forecast could be the best result possible for Berwick.
  10. Apart from last Saturday, where the track was poor, the racing has been decent this season and worth the admission money. It is to be hoped the track will be back to where it was prior to Saturday, if that happens I`m sure Sky will be more than happy with the racing, as they were last season with their trip up here for the visit of Newcastle.
  11. Heat 02: Kus, Nielsen, Bates, Carr - EF 3-3 4-8 Agg: 40-62 Time: 61.00 Line Up: Nielsen, Bates, Carr, Kus Comments: Kus had time for a nap on lap 3 and still won with ease. Carr never moved off the start. Heat 04: Kus, Proctor, Doolan, Bates 2-4 9-15 Agg: 45-69 Time: 61.50 Line Up: Proctor, Bates, Doolan, Kus Comments: Proctor and Bates took turns admiring Doolan's exhaust for 2 laps before Proctor got by Doolan. 12. I hope "the guys", when or if they read it, will see it as humour, however if they don't I would like to sincerely apologise, though I bet they see the humour.
  13. According to the updates Matej Kus riders for Berwick, its a miracle I tell a true blue miracle.
  14. For the love of grief, I was just trying a bit of humour, I`m sure everyone else will see it that way but for the serious crew who don't, I am sorry.
  15. Don't worry all medical eventualities will be covered, lets just hope they can drag themselves out of the Black`n`Gold in time.
  16. At our stage of life, to get a thrill cheap or otherwise is always welcome.
  17. Absolutely, if Kus rode last night then its difficult to see why Berwick are allowed a guest tonight, not unless there`s differing degrees of fitness needed in different Countries, as you say its difficult to take this sport seriously at times.
  18. As was mentioned yesterday if Kus is missing tonight then Jorgensen is a no brainer as guest, big score at Sheffield a couple of weeks ago. Giving the shenanigans Sheffield got up to with the Roynon affair, maybe they have dropped a rider and are employing a guest for tonight.
  19. Palm Toft would have to give up his team place at Belle Vue, as they already have Worrall and Cook as doubling up riders.
