Panthers V Workington (lcsf) Tues 17/6/14
screm replied to Crump99's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Decent meeting at EoES, Peterborough will probably look at this as a missed opportunity, especially with Howarth only lasting a couple of laps into his return, though you must question the decision to let him ride in the first place. Workington's efforts are all the more remarkable when you think that the Comets had only one rider in Hts 7 & 10. Lawson was real class at his former home, and was well back up by Wells who was the rider out on his own twice when Workington had only one rider. Taylor Poole was the enigma he is, looked ok in his first ride, before putting in two zero`s, then winning his fourth ride in fine style. I was interested to see how Nicki Barrett got on, his debut was steady if unspectacular, winning his first ride in fine style before tailing off. P.S Can someone return the second half of the National Anthem, I had only got to my feet and taking off my cap when it was all over, but as with last year it was another happy trip to Peterborough Speedway. -

If memory serves I think Berwick went to Stoke a few seasons ago with a six man team, with only one of their riders Jak Rempala, the rest was guests and R/R. This was the meeting. Stoke = 60 1. Lee Complin - 3, 3, 2*, 3, 3, 2* = 16+2 (Paid Maximum) 2. Ben Barker - 2*, 3, 3, 0, 2 = 10+1 3. Glenn Cunningham - 3, 2*, 3, 0 = 8+1 4. R/R - BE, LC, CV, BB. 5. Claus Vissing - 3, 3, FX, 3, 2*, 3 = 14+1 6. Barrie Evans - FX, 1, 1, 1 = 3 7. Jamie Smith - 3, EF, 2*, 3, 1* = 9+2 Berwick = 31 1. Trent Leverington - 1, 1, 0, 2, 1, 1 = 6 2. Arlo Bugeja - 0, 2, 0, F, 0 = 2 3. R/R - AB, TL, JR, CK. 4. Chris Kerr - 0, 2, 2, 1*, 3 = 8+1 5. Jacek Rempala - 1*, F, 2, 2^, 0, 0 = 5+1 6. Scott James - 2, 1, 1*, 2 = 6+1 7. Absolutely, I went to the 4`s last year and thoroughly enjoyed the EoES, even if the meeting did go on a bit, so I am looking forward to Tuesday. -

Fair enough, but to use your own argument, should his wildcard place be taken over an eighth place qualifier from one of the semi`s. -
