  1. I`m hoping that now Berwick has once again been awarded a FIM meeting it might tempt a certain satellite company back with their cameras, maybe for a PL top of the table clash.
  2. How true, I am sure Berwick track staff, FIM and the riders will do everything to get this meeting run on Saturday. Maybe Crescent Girl is making an attempt to re-write the FIM rule book.
  3. I was delighted we signed Kus, there were some doubters which was understandable giving some of his performances for Redcar last season but I think recently we have seen Kus riding with confidence and scoring big points for Berwick.
  4. The rider certainly has the ability, and should be riding with increased confidence giving his scores of late, so we should see the benefit of that. In a way I hope Kus will be fighting to get out of the reserve position asap.
  5. Damn and blast I am going to the EoES in a couple of weeks and was so looking forward to meeting you.
  6. Certainly at home Berwick should still have a big hitting reserve with Kus, of course he will need to do this away from Shielfield if Berwick are to get the true benefit.
  7. With Berwick scheduled to be at Newcastle this Sunday and then Glasgow on Monday, let us all hope we get this meeting on on Saturday.
  8. Mr Anderson was a huge Berwick fan for many years and will be greatly missed, condolences to all family and friends.
  9. Maybe you could offer your services to Mr Lindgren.
  10. Will this bring the curtain down on Lemons racing career, no dis-respect to the guy but its difficult to see some other team taking a gamble. He still has the Aussie team managers job so its not likely he will be lost to the sport, might even get a job as a team manager in one of the leagues over here.
  11. To be fair to the track guys from this year, Saturday was fairly warm in Prague all day Saturday, and they were watering the track at least twice before the start, so conditions were always likely to be slick. Not sure about others years where the racing as been just as processional.
  12. As has been previously said much of the racing was from the gate, however it was quite exciting being there. Stadium is a bit tatty outside but once inside it was ok. I met one of our forum friends yesterday in one of the hotels going up to Marketa, if your reading this and it was you, nice to meet you even if it was only for a short time.
  13. Weathers set fair for tonights GP, warmest day so far in Prague.
  14. Tai Woffinden Nicki Pedersen Matej Zagar Chris Holder
  15. Whisper it softly but Berwick might just be onto something with this years team, if all seven stay fit the sky`s the limit IMO.
  16. The Plymouth track is everything Shielfield isnt in terms of size and shape. Never the less I hope the confidence we are in at the minute will be good enough to see you to a point, and a point at Plymouth will have the rest of the PL sit up and take notice.
  17. Cheers for that, I will be trying to get there for the signing session. In Prague so everything is on Czech time just now.
  18. Does anyone know where the signing session is going to be and at what time, I`ve looked on the Speedway GP site and cant see anything. Prague weather, cloudy but dry, forecast looks decent for today and for the next few days.
  19. We had rain when I arrives in Prague around 2pm, the rain has now just about stopped but it is still very dull and a bit chilly.
  20. You may very well be right though the question has to be ask, what in the name of all that's holy has Peter Waite got to do with Berwick Speedway these days. The answer leaves your post null & void.
  21. A bargain average maybe, but would you take a chance on a rider who`s had the thick end of a year out, you`d probably take the risk on a younger rider but Gjedde`s best days are behind him.
  22. He is quite capable of doing that all by himself, as he showed at Berwick.
  23. Then its to Berwick`s credit they will stick with a young British rider making his way in the sport.
