  1. Track was very slick, and no amount of water they dump on it hit helped. Surely though we must have riders who have the knowledge and experience who can make the necessary bike adjustments to get them out of the starts which they seemed incapable of doing last night.
  2. Make no mistake about it from a Berwick point of view last night was as bad as the score suggests, it was un-professional, and totally un-acceptable for this team to represent the people who turned up last night and turn in a performance like that. Thing is does any of us believe we have a team manager or a promotion who will leave the riders in no doubt that there can be no repeat of that performance in future, now I have been onto our wonderful website but I am guessing it will be usual clap trap about forgetting tonight, turning over a new leaf, moving on etc, there may even be a snide comment about Edinburgh using Drew Kemp as guest as there was on here the other day and again on the parade last night. Face Berwick Edinburgh used the rules to their advantage just as Berwick did with the Garcia/Anderson saga, the original hokey cokey signing, he`s in then he`s out then he`s back in again. Most worrying of all is that most of us saw this coming and I don`t see last night being our last home defeat. I will exempt Leon Flint from criticism as he has carried the team for most of the season, and on last night Danny Gappmaier. Even Aaron Summers, who has has his critics on here which I understand, has the decency to win 50% of our race wins which wasn't difficult as Berwick only had two race winners all night. Take nothing away from Edinburgh, they were excellent, when a good team riding well comes to a poor team riding as Berwick did last night then this is what happens.
  3. Those of a nervous disposition might want to take a night off from this forum.
  4. Standard Armadale performance, good showing from new signing Anderson.
  5. Probably the same interpretation that saw Berwick replace Coty Garcia with Kasper Anderson, only for him to be replaced by Coty Garcia so Berwick were able to get R/R last week. Now back in comes Anderson to replace Garcia.
  6. Edinburgh's Joe Lawlor is now isolating and will miss both fixtures on Friday and Saturday.
  7. Meeting off Kent Kings & Royals Live @kentkingslive ยท 10m The rain showers in the last hour has made the track unsafe unfortunately and not enough time to get things sorted.
  8. Club statement http://www.kingslynn-speedway.com/_mobile/news.php?extend.31098&fbclid=IwAR2ZvRu43gP65X7bbVyyuINpgpryBITg--IzwL9BRZOaWCvDUCed1wfPURs
  9. Looks like its good to go for full stadiums from July 19th https://www.skysports.com/football/news/12040/12349388/coronavirus-government-sets-out-return-to-full-capacity-events-from-july-19
  10. Seems to be true https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/947817/zuzel-federacja-wycofala-zgode-na-starty-pedersena-w-polsce
  11. https://birmingham-speedway.com/news.php?extend.3008
  12. The fixture between Eastbourne and Leicester due to be next Sunday has been moved https://www.eastbourne-speedway.com/fixture-update-the-eagles-v-the-lions/
  13. Not sue on averages but Newcastle are able to have R/R for Roynon, if that changes and Roynon drops to reserve that would obviously change things so replacing him now would make sense.
  14. Not sure if rules make much difference anymore, Berwick for example seem to have been able to sign Kasper Anderson to replace Coty Garcia only for them to re-declare their team to include Coty Garcia which enabled them to have R/R at Scunthorpe last Friday and Berwick last night. Looks like they will re-declare their team again that will see Anderson replace Garcia, so Auty coming back into the Scunthorpe team is quite possible.
  15. I`m on dangerous ground here but I don`t think Scunthorpe would be allowed to resign Auty.
  16. Seems Cammy Brown is quite pleased https://glasgowtigers.co.uk/the-result-hurts-but-im-pleased-with-the-effort/
  17. Possibly true, I just thought there would be a team out there who needed a rider.
  18. Surprised Auty hasn't been picked up by another club by now.
  19. On their travels Glasgow seem to be turning into Berwick, eight points up after eleven races and then lose by four.

  21. As I entered the stadium in heavy rain I thought I would be on my out again a few minutes later so to to get a full meeting in is credit to everyone concerned. Berwick made heavy weather of beating Newcastle but they got there in the end thanks in the main to Leon Flint who arguably had his nest meeting so far, and there have been quite a few to pick from. Can`t agree with some of the remarks about Kyle Bickley, IMO he`s doing the job he was brought in to do especially when in some of his rides he is generally up against tactical rides from the opposition. Its great to see Leon Flint free scoring as his reserve partner but Bickley`s performances shouldn't be ignored.
