Congratulations to Kyle Bickley on coming through his qualifier last night at Redcar for the British Under-21 Final.

Confirmed on the clubs website. http://kent-speedway.com/news.php?extend.1677

How much trust you put in Wikipedia is up to you but here is the Wikipedia page for Berwick Rangers, it gives a capacity of 4099. If Berwick Speedway has to run with 25% capacity you have a crowd limit of just over a thousand, 50% of just over two thousand and so on. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berwick_Rangers_F.C.

Hearing that Kent have postponed their next two meetings.

Sad situation that Newcastle currently find themselves as the problems aren't down to Rob Grant in any way. Hopefully they find a way to see out the season and re-group over the winter. Hopefully.

If there`s a new rider they can have as much practice as they want on Saturday night.

Meeting is live on EuroSport.

So current Covid restrictions are to stay in place for another, probably to the surprise of nobody. I wonder how many teams from the Championship or Premiership will be looking to put their season on hold until the middle of July.

I wouldn't be against that in our league, it would make team managers manage. -

Amen to that, it makes no sense at all, but that shouldn't mean we are surprised. -
Leon Flint scores 5+2 for Glasgow in their 47-43 defeat at Redcar. Now onto Peterborough and after that Kent.

You are correct but I`m not sure it takes to much sense, if you have a rising star program at least protect their average so it keeps the riders in the team. -

Injury news regarding Josh Auty seems more positive than it could've been, after scans that have back all clear he will now sit out the next nine days due to a concussion. -

Seems a no brainer for me. There must be a rider out there somewhere that can come into the team. -
The difference being of course is that he flew into Germany so I am guessing their restrictions allow that. Just now our restrictions don't but as I`ve posted the Garcia situation needs sorting.

You get the feeling if the restrictions aren't lifted Poole could be the next club to put a hold on their season. https://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/19369198.ford-confirms-pirates-made-hefty-loss-first-home-meeting/?fbclid=IwAR3yTGIKGaKwZqlBI0bWlhbC8aoNVMeSwWp7LPh0dvvrUGoCdd5uUzP4Sk8

I see that, he was using bikes Nico Covatti who was also at the meeting it seems. The Garcia situation needs sorting as it seems he wont be anywhere near Berwick anytime soon.

Brought back by un-popular demand. -
Hearing that Leon Flint has picked another guest booking, this time in the Premiership for Wolves in their match with Peterborough at EoES tomorrow.

We all know the weakness in the Berwick as it the same weakness we have had over the last two or three season. Whether it will be addressed is another matter, home defeats leads to disillusion in the fan base and then dwindling crowds. I`m sure there will be a charm offensive this week from the official site, even anyone actually reads that anymore, but another home defeat to Glasgow could be to much for some. -
I think Berwick now have two free weeks before they tackle Glasgow on the 28th, if there is to be a team change then now seems as good a time as any. Where the rider or riders come from I am not sure, the situation with Garcia needs addressing though as there is no sign he is going to get the green light to fly over here.
