And have them carry coloured water around the track each side of the bike in buckets... Each have two buxom wenches dressed in alpine garb shouting "left, left left" as they hit the bends on one and three.. The one with the most water left at the finish in the buckets wins... Would pack em in. Nice idea, but Ithink there could have been another way to solve it. They should all have got into the inflatable helmets and done 100m race, a bit more exciting! Cardiff and Wales have been supportive of the sport and it should not be under-estimated the contribution Wales has made to the UK GP speedway. It is not a disgrace it is simply economics and whoever the piper is they call the tune. You also have not picked up that speedway is a second rate sport that does not deserve the exposure that the Cardiff Millennium stadium gives speedway. Face it, speedway is on its knees and the majority of the UK does not know it even exists and could not give a toss whether it is held at Cardiff, BelleVue or the IOW. Sad but true, it amazes me that Cardiff can still get around 20k, for a lot of 'supporters' it must be the only speedway meeting they actually attend during the year. TheReturn
Bewley being interviewed post final was refreshing. He seems a genuinely happy guy. Compared to Woffinden he really is a breath of fresh air.

Have a run off... How can a wild card qualify when he has no standing year to date? It's even worse than that, a rider who actually qualified like Jan Kvech is ranked 15th but a seeded rider like Bewley is ranked 7th (or something like that). So if they were level the rider who got a seeded spot has an advantage of a rider who actually qualified! In the head to head section Magic and Robert should have went through (beat 2 other riders). If you then use rankings it would be Bewley who goes out against Vaculik or if you still use head to head then Vaculik would go out against Bewley. Glad I'm on holiday and didn't bother going.😀

Blue Groove
if riders are tied for a position in a Speedway GP round, the countback system is used, with the rider registering the most race wins ranked highest. If they are tied on race wins, seconds, then thirds and fourth places are taken into consideration – with a fourth place deemed better than a retirement or disqualification. If this does not resolve the tie, the rider who scored the most points in the race or races when the tied riders met is placed highest. If the riders are still deadlocked, the rider with the highest FIM ranking out of the tied riders is placed highest Can't be bothered looking back through the scorecard, they must've reached option 4 by the sounds of it.
