Yes think they would have done matches with teams further afield, these fixtures mean some" nearby supporters" may not make the journey.

We normally get better crowds against the likes of Redcar & Workington, will BSN coverage make people think twice about travelling ?

It’s surprising that the Berwick Promotion would agree to Stream BSN when it local rivals visiting might affect travelling fan numbers, but these days it’s maybe not such a big deal.BSN do a great job though. I was thinking of coming up for when the comets visit but with me paying for bsn I’ll save myself the fuel and admission costs. So you’re point is bang on

Very surprising from the Berwick promotion. It would be more understandable if these meetings were months apart, but two local-ish derbies in a row is madness imo. Hopefully it doesn’t affect the numbers through the gate. It’s also hardly exciting for the regular BSN viewer to watch the same track two weeks on the bounce. Yeah I recall visiting Glasgow one sunny Sunday afternoon.....had a lovely dinner in pub next to track. We lost match, just, but think Stoney beat Les Collins for silver helmet.....might be wrong?(1999 was year).

All track have the same number of BSN visits anywhere and showing local derbys will be good viewing. At the prices you pay to watch it’s a minor complaint IMO. If the Promotion are happy don’t see any reason it affects the fans. Edited 4 hours ago by Fromafar
