szkocjasid Posted July 6, 2025 Report Share Posted July 6, 2025 (edited) Rolling averages can be kinda strange. Sam Hagon finished last year on 4.85. His 2025 ave is 4.29, so he's lost half a point. But his last 20 match rolling ave is 3.44! Must have scored so well at reserve for Poole, now only his top 5 scores remain! Dayle Wood has also shown the advantage of racing in the Prem before you're good enough. His 2025 ave is 2.77, but his last 20 matches is 1.70. So his poor form for Edinburgh in 2023 could help him get a team place in 2026, by adding a few low scores to his decent Berwick efforts! I wonder if any NL riders think like that? For example if Jordy Loftus becomes a superstar at Edinburgh next year, his 2025 scores will keep him at reserve for longer.
