What I'd chip in is, contrary to world opinion, Cami Brown proved a good manager on Saturday and deployed his limited resources very well.    He had two heat-leaders, two young reserves and two woefully ineffective guests, but juggled them well.

I do think it was good thinking regarding Tigers line up.While the guests didn’t produce lot on the night ,they knew Harris and Howarth were going to have at least 6 rides each which would always keep them in contention with their liking for Shielfield.Deserved their win.

I see Nick Morris is going to be on a very attractive average for next year now.

His 8.8 average must have been a majority of good scores for Leicester (I think) in 2022 & a handful of disappointing scores for Birmingham in 2023 before his ban.

Now all his 2022 scores have been dropped his rolling ave will consist of just his 2023 & 2025 meetings, currently 6.2ish.

While I wasn't in favour of his signing, Berwick were obviously happy to overlook any "previous" so would be daft not to sign him up for next year ASAP.

Now that it’s a bit doom and gloom around here, being ever the optimist, I’m really enjoying watching PK around Shielfield. He has a style that’s almost unique. Sometimes he doesn’t look like he is even on the bike. Any wider and he would be riding the air fence. I really hope he continues in uk speedway. I’ve not seen much of him in the premiership but I have been following his results and he really does seem like a solid asset to any team.

Glass just on half full for this one. I read and enjoy the programs but they often criticise social media and forums. We could all rewrite our contributions on here with the foresight the few are privy too. 
with little to no info given to fans speculation is inevitable. Maybe positive interactions with the people who really care about the sport would be more beneficial than Saturday night’s gripes. It’s becoming repetitive.

I really would have thought Hagon would have kicked on this year. Especially as a lot of the reserves are 3rd division standard, but he has flattered to deceive. His average for a No2 is pretty dire.

While I agree Hagon should have done better, perhaps the reason his average is so low, is that he's a reserve riding at number 2 & sometimes 3?

Progress would've been keeping his average in a tougher position, but even that didn't happen.

Of course this now means he's got a better chance of finding a team place next year.

Regardless of what position hes riding at for me just watching him on track you can see how poor he is. Absolutely no aggression in his riding, not a great gater and then just gives up. Him and Smith were embarrassingly bad last night.

And Dayle Wood who Dickson said at the beginning of the season would be one of the strongest in the league

Berwick had the opportunity to swap either rider for Trigger. I would've brought him in for Smith.

Surely you have to include Dayle Wood in that remark? 

Hagon is still young and learning.  Being at #2 can't be helping, as he comes up against the oppositions #1 in his first ride and (probably) a much stronger #2 opponent.

Jack Smith has been around for quite some time now and clearly isn't getting any better, but clubs still insist on giving him "another" chance. Arguably the same could be said about Dayle Wood (new over here, but has been riding for quite a while) and has maybe reached the standard he will achieve?
