Why do you keep bringing these things up,  Everything must be ok behind the scenes ,as they would have not been allowed to restart. the comets have survived "the issue"  put it to bed and get behind the comets,  get through this season and hopefully a bright future UTC

Have to agree, what the point of discussing “ legal matters” on a Speedway Forum when we don’t know what happened behind the scenes.Something has been resolved ,let’s hope the Comets have a good future.

That would be OK if people didn't misrepresent the legal position (as some Worky fanboys have). Combating that misinformation with a more accurate description of the legal position seems a perfectly proportionate response.

So have Allied just propped up Workington until future notice then? The interview with James Denham appeared to point that way - whether intentionally or not. It was even mentioned that they'd started the kids race as it "had worked well at other tracks...Peter does it at Glasgow". Made it sound like the Facennas are running the show now.

Vuolas replaces Craig Cook at Oxford due to a rumoured "high heart rate" that sent him to hospital.

That makes it a fair few meetings missed across both leagues now for Craig. I'm glad to be proven wrong because I thought Cookie would've been the better option over Troy

More than Glasgow do a kids race, was one on BSN from scunny on Friday, maybe it's a directive from Mr Godfrey

I'm sorry but legally this is not the case. The business does not exist from the 17th June 2025, as stated at Companies House " Final Gazette dissolved via compulsory strike-off ". Therefore, there is not a company to be "taken on the business as a going". Compulsory strike off means they have debts than are unable to be paid by existing assets.

Could it not simply have been that,  because relevant documents for Northside Speedway Training Track had not been submitted since Comets joined the NDL the regulator concluded that that particular company no longer existed following the absence of response to warnings.?

I totally agree that SJA is right to raise the issue that there will be creditors of the old trading company who will have lost out financially. I wonder if Comets fans who want to conveniently brush that under the carpet and move on would be as forgiving if they were owed money? Have a bit of sympathy for those who won't get a penny back of any monies they were owed.

It's no wonder speedway in this country has reached a crisis point when so many questionable business practices are accepted as normal and acceptable!

What happened behind the scenes is laid bare and open on Companies House. So its clear what has happened.

Here we go more rhubarb. Just be grateful there is another track still operating as clearly you know how it feels to lose your club. Time to move on and focus on the future of Speedway in general.

No rhubarb from me. I only deal in facts. Although I do hold others to account who voice opinion as fact.
