He didn’t even acknowledge the Poole fans standing beside the pit gate who, fair play to them, were passionate all night. They have to be encouraged to do a lap of honour at Poole even though they have been asked to by the promotion
allthegearbutnaeidea
Cant blame Kerr for not wanting to do a lap of honour, he’d dropped points, the Poole fans would have booed him.

ASpeedwayfan
Off the top of my head the only riders I can think to of got Boo’d at Poole are Basso, C Cook and Kasperzak. I’m sure there’s plenty more of course. In the 15/20 years I’ve been attending I can’t think of a single time a pirate has been on the receiving end of boos

I thought Kerr and Thomsen were the match winners. Add Will Cairns to that - assuming he’s fit - and that would have been at least a 10 points victory for the Pirates. You were teased for your team building efforts, but some of you were correct: never write off the Pirates. One thing I would add - and I said this in the meeting topic - was that several of your riders were guilty of heading straight back to the pits after important wins. There were Pirates fans dotted all over the stadium, including a very visible bunch in the main stand with their flags; they’ve travelled a long way and deserve acknowledged by a lap of honour. Rowe passed Howarth in heat 5, then smoke Harris in his next, but both times, he went straight back to the pits. That’s so poor. You’ve just won two important heats and aren’t in the slightest bit arsed to even wave at the fans, never mind show a bit of passion. British speedway is on its backside, so the last thing it needs is big heat victories being treated like they’re nothing. I saw Tai Woffinden mention this on his social media, riders going straight back to the pits. Poor and disappointing. Agree British speedway is on its backside such a shame when I can remember going to watch Poole at White City,Wimbledon etc but must say I've no time for Tai Woffinden may be a nice chap but didn't help British speedway when he run away to Poland years ago giving up riding here as I'm sure many on here will remember.
