I don't think we did really.

Jason had a spell with us in 2023 and struggled with the track surface so I don't think either party would have been keen on another go. I think Luke and Jody have done ok.

As for next year, if the RS system is still in force I'd have thought Cooper would be in the frame too.

I think Jody Scott is the real deal but I’ve not seen him as much as you will have done

Maybe the rule should be slightly changed to you have to have ridden in Champ for a certain period of time first, whether that be half a season or a full one.

For Poole? 😂

No, not necessarily! They always say the gap between Champ and NDL is quite big, so imagine going from NDL to doing Champ and Prem at 16 at once. Think it's too much imo. What's the rush?

If they are desperate to do both then Champ in March/April and then possibly Prem from July onwards imo.

Looking at our remaining fixtures we've got a decent chance of at least 18 points..

Leicester at home 2pts

Oxford and Birmingham home and away - 4 wins 2 bonus = 10pts

BV and Sheffield home - 2 wins and bonus points - 6pts

Just that Suffolk lot away to deal with..

Sheffield (rather than Leicester) just might be catchable....

Left it far too late.

If it wasn't for the slow start then KL would've caused Ipswich a whole load of problems along with Leicester in the play-offs.

With a team built around having a strong reserve, what could possibly go wrong? 😉

Depends entirely on how they can cover Ben Cook I'd say. The guest system is an absolute lottery.

Agree though, why would anyone give up on top four until it's mathematically impossible.

To reduce financial losses

Guest riders are limited to a team’s top five. Cook is down to a reserve berth for August.

You can have a guest for your number 6

Think you may be confusing a guest with RR. You cannot have RR at 6

I agree, think Cairns (this season) & Rushen (next season) would be wise not to jump into an RS spot too soon.

We have to have a guest now Cook has gone to reserve, R/R is now not an option 👍🏻 so tomorrow night against Leicester we have a choice between Tungate (no chance), Kildemand, Palovaara or someone from the championship… as Lewi isn’t allowed to guest tomorrow
