They struggled last season, so why would they go again if they can't see it through? Just saying.... As expected, total nonsense. On 11/29/2024 at 11:08 PM, Col said: But Zagar spent several months at #1 with a higher average than Fricke & Kurtz. Aces were actually better at home when Zagar was at #1 than when either Aussie was in hat position. But finished well lower down the averages at the end of the year, and a huge disparity between home and away average.
ProudtobeaBrummie
Antti Voulas rode last meeting of the season for us and scored a big fat ZERO . I doubt (hope) that performance has convinced anyone at they club to sign him foe 2025 . Last three signings will be interesting I get the feeling we are trying to convince one or two riders into signing . We really need another decent heat leader to be competitive .

Riding at 3 though not 6. Important distinction imo but very BSF in failing to mention it. In the final declaration there were only 3 teams with a better number 6, average wise. Considering he was drafted in to replace injured Tate, I think he did and would do a fine job in the PL.

Have to agree, only seemed to take him 2/3 laps to sus a new track out and he looked smooth and quick in his next rides. Surprised Leicester went for Cook over him- if he doesn’t end up at Brum that is!

But, Kildemand was/is the best rider I've seen around Perry Barr....although, the track was a lot better when he was over here... I like him and can't wait to see him visit with Oxford! Brummies_Ste
BIRMINGHAM have added Jonas Jeppesen to their side as he becomes the fifth rider named for next season. The Dane, who had brief spells with Somerset and Ipswich in 2018, joins Tobiasz Musielak, Matej Zagar, Keynan Rew and Jason Edwards as confirmed starters. The 26-year-old comes highly recommended and Brummies’ Director of Speedway Laurence Rogers, who made initial contact, also feels Jeppesen is now a much-improved all-round rider. Rogers said: “I had a message from Tom P Madsen who rode for me at King’s Lynn and Mildenhall and he is a good friend. “He is now a team manager in Denmark and was recommending Jonas as a rider who wanted to come to England and one who has shown good form in several leagues outscoring several top riders. “I also contacted Erik Gundersen for his thoughts and he said he was a good lad who he knew well and it was great that he wanted to come over. “After looking at Jonas’ stats in 2024, we started discussions and it didn’t take long to agree a contract - he is really looking forward to being at Birmingham in 2025.”
