I'm sure when a club drops a rider they can't bring him back "without management committee approval". I'm this case it's not like Birmingham were attempting to fiddle the averages, so I'm 99.99% sure Zagar would be allowed back. Last year Zach Cook was re-signed after being dropped & that was allowed. Correct. You can't redeclare with a rider who isn't eligible to ride named in the side Replace Vuolas you have to replace Zagar

They clearly need help just to limp to the end of the season.

Roger Jacobs
Castagna comes in on 4.74. I wonder if Brum were limited on the replacement of Zagar, i.e. they were only allowed 5.40 for guests? Either way, there ain't many Champ riders available ... Edited May 3 by Roger Jacobs

What went wrong at Birmingham, for me the Phillips regime played a part, I don't think that Birmingham have ever recovered. Tony Mole did a lot of good at Birmingham, but one thing he got wrong was selling the club to Phillips. Like yourself I miss the times that we used to meet up and the laughs that we shared. The Polish trip was the best Me, You, Junior and Glasgow legendary fan Paulco, I could write a book about the trip. Getting stuck with Bongo Brian (Whatever happened to him). Dancing with the Polish fans at the GP at Leszno. Going for drink afterwards with the Polish fan, who spoke very little English, and spent a good couple of hours showing me the same photo's of his wife and tractor. Watching the riot police chasing the Bydgoszcz fans in Gniezno. Hard to believe that this happened 14 years ago. Fun times mate. I wonder whatever happened to the Fartettes?

Birmingham had 9.66 available to replace Zagar. Could've picked anyone in the world, apparently Castagna was the strongest rider willing to come? If they had known Gusts was getting dropped, I'd have given him a shot ahead of Hume tbh Edited May 3 by szkocjasid

I agree Vuolas has been very disappointing, but I wouldn't expect Hume to be an improvement. I guess if it saves money on air fares I can understand it, as the difference in points scored will not be great.

GiveusaB
It's a total sham at bham this season! Hume can't hold on for 4 Laps! Sorry Danyon, but it's true he has more falls than an American winter! And to be honest it seems like Tolley has given up after seeing the last 2 signings Castagna and Hume, has someone not realised Brum are supposed to be Premiership not Championship these 2 signings do have Rogers stamp all over them surely Adams could have done better than this. With regards Zagar fair enough if their has been a cock up by the UKVI but did not Tolley mention something about fast tracking a week or so ago ?, fast tracking ie super priority takes 1 day, priority takes up to 5 days, I am however unsure if the priority visas apply to Sports persons but football players rarely seem to be delayed. Mind you fast tracking visas in Birmingham's case seems to be following the same speed as the riders slow!.
