If Mr Tolley has any hopes of running Speedway again, I'd say yes.

Why wouldn't they? Or is that what want so you can write I told you so.

Are you always so passive aggressive with your comments ? 😀

I don't give two shinny sh#tes whether they complete the season or not, I was just responding to the previous poster?

As to your first ? 'why wouldnt they'?....well, there's no Number 1 rider....the Number 4 is riding cr#p and the rising star has just got injured and there doesn't seem to be a competent replacement  (albeit there's an announcement today apparently...) the track is poor....the attendance is poor.... I think there's plenty of valid reasons why they wouldn't see the season out.... BUT....as IainB has pointed out, Tolley needs to stay on track (no pun intended) in order for his 'new' club next season!!!!!

Sam Hagon replaces Jason Edwards

From what I’ve seen of Hagon this season he likes a bit of dirt around the outside, he enters the corner fast, drifts across till he hits the dirt and relies on that outside line to pull him out of the corner, pretty much everything Perry Barr doesn’t have, he isn’t the worst rider we could of had but in a struggling team I can’t see enough points from him to make our task any easier, anyway good luck Sam hope you prove me wrong

If only that sort of analysis was used in TV coverage to explain why riders struggle at different types of tracks!

Sam Hagon and Perry Barr isn't a good match on paper.

Sam was never going to turn down the opportunity though and I hope he can get to grips with the cicruit and score some points.

If he struggles, he'll have to "make some changes to his bike"

Another club that have overlooked their own NDL team when choosing a RS replacement.

There isn't anyone eligible in the 'NDL team to step-up?

Will Cairns will most likely be the next NDL rider to make it as a  rising star ?

You'd think/hope that everybody in the "Development" leagues should be eligible

He did well for the Brummies in the Championship a couple of years ago.

Why would you overlook a stronger rider just because you run a NL/NT team?

If every club chose replacements from their development team only, then clubs that don't run a development team, would be at an advantage, being able to pick from any NL/NT team for a replacement.

By that logic every Prem team losing a RS would be signing a NL/NT rider as a replacement, while Ipswich could go for Gilkes or Hagon because they don't have a NL/NT team to recruit from.

Also the NL/NT is miles away from the Prem, even at RS level. It's better riders move up when they are ready & not before. If one of the top NL/NT riders Max James, steps down from Edinburgh because it's too tough for him, surely you wouldn't put him in a RS spot just because he rides for Birmingham's second team?

Yep, can't disagree with anything you say... but then I'm not a fan of the RS system in the PL anyway... and now with the removal of the asset system it makes it even less likely

Rew is maybe “looking after his average”.
