ShanoXtra
Emil beat him the first time tonight and then Zmarzlik got upset and laid his bike down when Emil took him in another race. I think he needs a shot to show what he can do again! Just like what lambert said, Zmarzlik rides hard for others but didn’t play fair on that one. If you look at the various angles shown in the rerun clips it seems close but I do not believe they actually made contact. Professional foul maybe, still it adds to the drama and oh how you would like to see this calibre of league meeting in the UK. Great meeting.

Think Bartosz played it safe and got off, don’t think he would have complained if he had been excluded. There was some brilliant moves by class riders in that meeting.Bartosz is a class above though. 1

Maybe that is right but the GPs do not have the best riders in the world competing, they have a random selection of a nations best riders brought together under the banner of a world title competition. It possibly needs to go back to a qualifying system with the top points scorers from the qualifiers meeting in a semi final and then a final. That way you could have as many nations as you like taking part but the cream of the best riders would appear on the top stage. I am sure many on here and those in charge could come up with a formula and bring some life back into what should be a prestigious finale and spread the meetings across Europe and beyond. It just takes a little imagination.

Agree don’t think many fans think the present Formula is the correct.Makes a mockery of the the qualifying.Would be interesting what the riders think. Its a bonus for many of them IMO.
Bagpuss
Personally I think we need a few more honest interviews and a bit more needle between riders, makes it more entertaining. It can all be a bit nice in speedway nowadays, especially with BZ, riders seem to almost move over and let him past in the GP's. 1

They can’t perform the moves that Bartosz does though.

Totally agree and I just wish that the wider public could see the sport is this light with split second decisions on powerful machines with no brakes. It takes skill and not many sports can match it. Today in Poland you have seen riders crash at high speed and get up and back on the bike in the rerun. Either they are mad or calculated risk takers, whichever, I appreciate the effort and you can ask for no more.
THE DEAN MACHINE
Good entertaining meeting, Toruń deserved winners, it’s never a good look moaning about another rider when you have been owned numerous times on your own track

Miles better than anyone else at the moment. But that doesn't mean he can't/shouldn't be criticised if he has put the bike down and got away with it. He is thinking about World Championship. He did play it safe IMO and laid it down ,it’s not his fault the Ref saw it differently.Like I said don’t think he would have complained if excluded ,him and Emil seemed Ok about it.

mikebv
Another great Sunday evening meeting from Poland.. I almost feel some sympathy for the UK promoters having to follow on, on a Monday... Great stadia, big enthusiastic crowds, a sizeable away following, truly top level riders in almost every heat. (With all belng contracted to both teams on show), and professional looking managers and mechanics dressed in club merchandise... With most races contested by at least two riders, with the third often not too far behind given at lesst three riders in most races are of a "very good level".. Add in a very good junior and it can be all four in contention to possibly still change their individual positions as they enter bend three, lap four in lots of races... A lot of boxes ticked for the viewers, fans in the stadium, sponsors and advertisers.. Not quite the same amount of boxes ticked too often, sadly, on a Monday evening on TNT..
