I think expectations are too high for Lawson he isnt a heat leader at this level.

He is at home and he has proven he can beat anyone round the AFA. He should average around 8 at home and 6 away with an average of 7, which in my book is a strong third heat leader

Dont see that, he had a really good season at Leicester but was never a heat leader. I see him as a 6 point average rider in this league.

This is huge for Lynn. Barring a huge injury crisis I think everyone accepts the top three places are taken care of, the final spot in all likelihood is between these two. You can’t afford to lose at home to the side you’re competing against for that play off spot. The form of a few Lynn riders currently makes this a dangerous fixture for them.

You still think Sheffield are nailed on for a top 3 now Woffinden is unlikely to ride?  He has not been included as a seed for the British Final on May 12th which suggests to me he'll not be back on a bike before then.  Tigers are not going to find a like for like replacement that is certain.

13+1 for Ben Cook in Poland today but I think he does the league below? But he was top scorer for Leszno, even better than Pickering.

See what he does tomorrow.

Cook & Pickering both ride of Leszno in Ekstraliga 2.  Leszno were relegated last year, crazy really when they were almost unbeatable 5 years ago.

Kvech both need to up their game.

Kvech didn't do much on his Torun debut 1 3 0 0 yesterday.  The win was mostly down to Kowalski getting in team ate Bewley's way on the first few laps.

I can't see Fricke going through the card, one of the Stars will lower his colours and Harris will have the edge over the the rest of the Lions I'd imagine, it's down to Stars team manager (I can picture him but can't remember his name) to use him wisely.  Becker has quite a liking for the Norfolk Arena doesn't he?  Stars 49 Lions 41.

Cant see him being back this season, Sheffield will go for a double change with Hume being the other one to go

Yes I definitely do. Rowe and Flint have started very well but a lot will depend on their continued good form, but I think they’ve more than enough to cover Tai even R/R.

I think Sheffield still look strong at the top end even without Tai unbelievably. The Holders and Pickering is more than enough top end strength. If Rowe has a solid season in the main body and consolidates his progress, and they end up with a stronger reserve at number 6 then Sheffield will be in the mix. It’ll be interesting to see what they end up doing.

The daft thing is he's made 2 starts tonight and if he'd just ridden the line he'd probably be unbeaten. It's like he's trying to be Chris Harris and there ain't many of them about.

He was the same at Glasgow on Friday. Won one heat - got out at the gate and stayed in front so no concern about anyone coming too close. Scored poorly (if at all) when not at the front from the gate.

To be fair, I don't think he wants to go wide, he looks to be unable to hold it even to the middle of the track. Maybe has too much speed?

Does British Speedway still have a track inspector?

Nice to see the return of the drop handlebar... they were all the rage in the 90's
