Don’t get Alex Harkness comments about the Berwick track being” demanding” times were decent ,riders didn’t look to be having difficulties another case of “spoonful of dirt”.Sedgman done 64.9 in heat 1.,obviously his wrist injury is a cause for concern like he intimated, doesn’t bode well for the season if it is not 100%.

Demanding due to the size and roughness of it. Track was better than last week again Glasgow, I know they did a good bit of work on it to try and sort it.

Will watch the replay when I'm back home.

Haven't seen a home team win this season yet (Belle Vue, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Berwick have all lost at home and Workington didn't win the pairs also.

Also a good reason to have the pairs and riders championship later in the season to see how riders are going during the season (Polis for Edinburgh as an example).

Fast times dont always mean a good track. Watching on BSN a lot of riders were getting an uncomfortable ride on both bends with the bikes lurching all over the place through ruts and bumps

Really!.Riders just want to ride on a Motorway slick track these days. Berwick has always been a fast track and difficult to pass.It not a slick this season as it has been in previous years.May be it will create bit of home track advantage.
ps

Never saw the class riders lurching all over the place that you did.

It was very bumpy, you could see going into the corners the bike jumping even Drew was talking about riding the bike almost like a motocross bike. Class riders are class for a reason they'll take advantage and ride it out. Bumps aren't always bad but they did look quite big.

Yep most tracks seem very similarly prepared from what I've seen this season thus far.

Not that I can think of a great solution but is it worth the team considering Kye moving out and replacing him and Max with a more balanced pair?

I wouldn't, if you replaced  6.5 & 2.0 riders, with a 4.5 & 4.0, then Palovaara is no longer a reserve.

Maybe if there was a 5.1 & 3.3 option, it'd work out?

Not that I would drop Kye anyway, far too early in the season to choose to drop someone imo

Palovaara isn’t going to be a reserve very long anyway

Think Grahn would do a good job there too. My choice would be to find a new 2 pointer & keep a strong reserve all season.

Should be looking to re-arrange the KOC ties ASAP, while Palovaara is still at reserve imo.

Was announced friday night at the track that anders Rowe is guesting for Riss

I believe Anders Rowe will be the guest on Friday with Leon Flint coming in to guest at Berwick next Saturday.

It was interesting that Drew wasn’t bothered about track conditions,he was just saying with his Motocross experience he was able to ride it with throttle control.Too many riders nowadays are just “ throttle jockeys” these days and not got a lot of bike control when track conditions vary.IMO.

Cookie was interviewed by BSN and he stated he's working with the club to get a more slick track

I’m sure it’ll have been said somewhere and I missed it but where was Stewart Dickson on Saturday?

Unable to attend due to illness, he had a migraine apparently.
